Awesome breakdown of the planters!!...this is one of the better videos yet!!...definitely one of the best if not THE best farm channel. Great work guys . God bless and stay safe from Michigan
I really enjoy your videos and I being a strong John Deere guy really like the way you guys are honest about the way you size up either make I really appreciate that
I just love your weekly videos. You guys are very respectful when analyzing your thoughts of the competition. Farming sure has come a long way since we sold out in 2000. I will be looking forward to next week's video. Thanks guys.
Out of all the farming channels like Larson farms cole the corn star walker farms Brian’s farming none of them can compete with the length of ivers farmings videos I can’t get enough haha
very impressive but surely when comparing green and red money is the price is a major consideration case hase come along way iin tech the past five year great video god bless ivers
I’ve been a Deere Kinze guy forever wanted to build custom planter as we are running a small 6/11 row planter. Case dealer talked us into using new case 2100 row units. As far as I know we built the only 6/11 3 pt hitch mount case oh 2100 unit with delta force, vdrive, vset2, speed tube, furrow jet. Just got done planting with it and can’t say one bad thing about it.
Like your videos Reese , you guys are on the right track regarding Deere vs Case . Price is so important in the farming game , then the tech . Deere's are to expensive and they are great copiers aswell . In england back in the day nobody could afford to buy green ' it was mainly Ford or MF .
Been w\o internet for 10 days. First thing I do: check messages? Nope. Check email? Nope. Watch Ivers video!! You betcha ❤❤👍👍 lol Do I need a real life!!?? Lol
I say Deere is the Apple of tractors you pay a shit ton for the name and there really not any better sometimes worse. It would be cool if you compared the Deere 4 track to the case quad.
After watching this, I don’t regret going green. I’m not buying new at this point, I can get fairly new but with high hours for that model year from a custom farming operation. He likes green, and my planting tractors came from him, and don’t want to deal with mix matching.
@@iversfarms Hey, I love low tech. I can do it without guidance and precision, but, as far as dollars and cents goes, you're ahead with it by a very considerable amount. I loved being a 1 man operation, my big tractor was a 4440, I towed my PTO powered 7721, filled up a couple of wagons and drove them to 3500 bushel bins to put it up, the field was my drier, don't pick it until it's dry enough. Drive back, park, get back in the other tractor and start the process all over. Talk about therapy! As a commercial aviator, if you're on my plane and it goes dark and both engines fall off, it's OK, I'll get us down, even if we're 50-minutes to an hour away from a flat and level place to land. I know how to manage the energy stored in that airframe with altitude and gravity, but it sure as hell isn't the best way to fly! I look at those guys (and gals) with about the same level of awe as I do the Iver's. Both extremes have their merits. But I want to hand my kids the keys for something considerable some day. Something that unites them as a family, even if they have their own off farm careers. I'd hope they pick careers that compliment the farm, but either way, they can find a place. Most of what I'm doing isn't going to mean squat until long after I'm gone. The only way to out run the jaws of the government is to get bigger. That's the focus of our 2nd 20 year plan. To have growth come from them carving out their own little piece. Which is a little crazy, they are 13, 10, 9, 7, 5, 2 and 0. But it's serioius enough to start paving the way for that now.
Great videos!!!! How did you guys feel about the product flow from bulk tanks when they get low???? I see you both had shovels in the back. We purchased a 2150 24row in March. I was disappointed that they would not run empty without a little assistance. (broom) I also tweaked a draft tube one day unfolding in some soft conditions. Any problems there??? Otherwise loved the performance of the planter!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!
It looks like you guys are in a holding pattern because of the weather. Maybe we will get some hay weather next week. We need to start haying in Tennessee, but we can’t get enough sunshine days between the rain. Your video was great today. I liked the comparisons on the planters. Thanks for all the work that you put into the videos!
Did you have to replace any of the Backbone wiring harnesses that go from the main bar to the downpressure solenoids and seed meters? Ive probably replaced at least 6 0n my 2140 12/23. Very impressed with the amount of acres you cover with 2 planters.
Deere uses Dawn for their hydraulic downforce and I believe their new Reflex system that came out last August has lift on it. This was always my complaint between the Deltaforce and Dawn as well.
John deere and Case should give you every year New Equipment for less, maybe as a Test farm. Your expertise is Great and you do a Great job. Thats research in action. Your Videos are great. You treat your Equipment very well. So everyone can learn from you. Keep it up . I realy enjoy your videos.
Looked at one at the farm show once. Too big for some of our fields. Before we went high speed 5 years ago we were deciding between going to 90’ planters and going fast. I’m glad we went the way we did
I think that old JD six row is ready for an upgrade! Makes me wonder if Case has a high speed six row unit? Bet you if a unit like that did exist it would allow you to grow some epic sweet corn. It would also make short work of planting all of it, even if you only make one pass. 😉🤣
Still at the start, but really pulling for the ExactEmerge being that I just converted two DB’s over this year. Did some custom work this morning, was tickling 11 mph, and a little over. Kept getting out so I could see for myself, it did great. It was putting out a lot of down pressure, which had me worried. On my own ground, it’s goes negative 50% of the time, and up to 40-50 lbs of down.
You know a fantastic view? Show in slow motion the row opening, the seed dropping and the row closing. I saw it on someone elses channel, it was pretty cool.
Are John Deere and case IH the 2 brands u guys like or are there other brands that interest u ? Love your channel, look forward to every weekend content. Thank you for sharing.
Those are really the only two in our area besides kinze, which guys seem to be switching from I did like the like a lot of the features on the fendt when I was looking at it at the last commodity classic in 2020
Hi from minnesota I like watching your videos I really like your setup but I do have to say we are diehard iH farmers all the way to my grate grampa as far as I know no johndeere has ever been on our farm now having said that I know international isn't prefect but at times you just look the other way.
Case IH not Case. So terrible how it takes an entire 7 seconds to flip two wire tabs and unplug a connector to remove the disk. The inconvenience is appalling. I'm hoping the adding the 48th row deal was sarcasm because that wasn't a well thought out idea. Also I'm sorry that not everyone has heard of poly when it comes to hitches.

Agreed! From Indiana
Your farm look so clean and tidy, nice.

Gpa died in 94 and he would be amazed
Shout out to all the workers who keep this country and world 🌎 a growing and moving into the future!
I have trouble putting into words how much I enjoy your videos!
Looks like both the new planters did a good job. Really enjoy your videos and cool drone footage of the bridge project.
Out of all the farming channels like Larson farms cole the corn star walker farms Brian’s farming none of them can compete with the length of ivers farmings videos I can’t get enough haha
Good to hear
I agree 100%
Think we all agree.
Ditto!!
Cool comparison of the two planters.
Great video! Must be making that bridge extra strong for your equipment!
Great review of the planters looks like got good stands good drone footage of the bridge
very impressive but surely when comparing green and red money is the price is a major consideration case hase come along way iin tech the past five year great video god bless ivers
super video, liked the backround music.
Super vidéo de comparaison de vos deux superbes planteurs rouge👍👌
Superbes vues aériennes avec le drone😍
Great review of the planters. Be interesting to see in a couple of years how they hold up. And the drone footage was great as always.

Sounds awesome
I agree with everything u guy's are saying. the bean stubble is hard on the gage wheels corn stocks hard on the tires
Did case pay you not to say anything about the gate and hand railing over the deer setup. Lol
@@markcrowley7489 I don't see anything wrong with them
I figured as much as you guys farm you probably know what your doing lol . Really enjoy watching the videos can't wait till you go to 2vids a week
The media team is going to need to hire some staff
Like your Capital Classic shirt. I lived at Effingham for a long time and always remember T-Town kicking off the season there.
I love that tournament and missed it this year.
We sponsor it, so I have no idea how many shirts I have
Good review.
IH should be paying u all for the review 😎👍
Now you’re talking

I say Deere is the Apple of tractors you pay a shit ton for the name and there really not any better sometimes worse. It would be cool if you compared the Deere 4 track to the case quad.
It was definitely this years hard ground. We broke more shtuff on the planter this year than any of the past 12 years I've been farming.
After watching this, I don’t regret going green. I’m not buying new at this point, I can get fairly new but with high hours for that model year from a custom farming operation.
He likes green, and my planting tractors came from him, and don’t want to deal with mix matching.
Yeah it’s a lot easier for keeping parts to have one color
And mixing tractor and planter colors canbexa problem

No respect for the shot 😎
@@iversfarms haha
I'm amazed how much up force it does on it. Heavy clay to drummer soil, mixed bag here. Delta force is a must I feel
It’s fantastic

What brand is that orange and black toolbox where the doors swing out instead of pull out. Shown in the beginning with the drill bits.

We did not

How have you liked the conceal? How was the wear and tear?
I have a harness so you can lift the rows on that 2150 from the pro 700. Let me know if your interested in it. Works real well

Have you guys ever looked at the John Deere Db 120? Huge planter cover a lot of acres, but take a lot of $$
Looked at one at the farm show once.
Too big for some of our fields. Before we went high speed 5 years ago we were deciding between going to 90’ planters and going fast. I’m glad we went the way we did
Does switching colours cause any problems with the dealers enjoy you guys especially the two old guys good luck for the year.
Not really, everyone has mutual understanding and respect
Great info! I would love to work for you guys.

😂 backbone of the farm
Have y'all checked out the FENDT momentum planter?
Saw it at the last commodity classic
Yeah have no idea where the closest dealer is
Do you prefer the 4 wheel tractor or the quadtrack
I like the speed of the wheels down the road but the tracks are tough to beat in the field
Hit that like button 👍
A requirement for the next farmhand you hire is 'camera presence' !! Lol
Tell Jay he needs to pick up his game (aka camera)!

Can’t go wrong with either one but yeah those delta force are impressive
@@iversfarms it was putting on over 100 lbs at times, and I thought for sure something went bizerk.
👍
Like your videos so do you care to share your total acres corn and beans
5900 of corn
5300 of beans
You know a fantastic view? Show in slow motion the row opening, the seed dropping and the row closing. I saw it on someone elses channel, it was pretty cool.
That does sound cool
Have to think about how to do that

Soucy tracks

I now see how you all get 300+ corn. Every video you guys get at least a couple inches rain. We can’t buy a rain in nw Iowa.
You can have it for the rest of the month if you promise to send it back
Zack Johnson has tracs on his Deere planter'
