Discovering England’s Loamiest Enduro MTB Trails

- As mountain bikers we dream about Loam but seldom get to ride itt and when we do its normally only a short section of trail.
Well not today my friends, This weekend's adventure took us to an incredible MTB destination that is rammed with loam filled hand scratched Enduro tracks and they are superb!
The tracks where are incredible, just the right amount of steep to remain challenging without losing any of the fun factor. I was literally buzzing riding these tracks! I strongly suggest you check this place out.
To add some context, this edit was filmed at the end of a dry week in mid September so don't expect to find loam in March.
That said we rode the same place the following day and it had put a huge amount of rain down during the night and the tracks rode well, even if the loam has turned to mush!

My guess at 2 mins is Eastridge! Mint place to ride! 👍
Nailed it! Awesome place!
First time at Easty? Absolutely love the place! As for the ridge line, it's defo scary 😱🤣
@@MTB_Trekker it was, but won’t be my last! Bloody marvellous! New pants needed after the ridge 😂
@MindfulTrailBiker looked like you had good weather going down, was blowing a gale when I last went....I walked it 🤣🤣
@@MTB_Trekkeryeah the weather was being kind at stiperstones. 30 mins later it was hoofing down so very lucky!
love a bit of easty 😎
Great place, first time, loved it!
Such a great place is Eastridge. Really loved Shropshire both for MTB and as a destination in general. You definitely saw more trails than me at easty (if only I had an ebike 😜). I reckon I did three or four of those. STEEP is certainly well named 🤣.
So loose down Stiperstones ridge line. That final chute got a definite "no" from me as I approached on my solo run there.
Top video and great riding.
@@MTB_Derbyshire thanks Jonathan! Yeah I loved it, great tracks at eastridge, poor weather meant we didn’t get to explore on the Sunday and opted to ride more tracks at eastrdige. Didn’t bother filming that day, just enjoyed the ride!
The eeb is perfect for places like that though off course not necessary. Back on the bronson this weekend to earn some pedal points 😂
@@MindfulTrailBiker totally agree about the ebike bonus at winch and plummet locations. Shame about the weather....Sometimes it's just great to ride and forget the faff that comes with recording. Of course no one forces us 😜
I really wanna try these trails 🚵🏻♀️🙏🏻
Really wanna show you these trails. Think you’ll love them mush!
Looks great. Nice riding 👍
@@rhettetherington1351 thanks man, well worth a visit, great tracks!
Looks good there shame it's a tad to far, especially when the peaks and Wharncliffe is on my doorstep
Yeah, I get that, only 2hrs for me.
Could be a good shout on the way to or from bike park wales.
Nice vid, gutted I missed that ride 😢
@@NoobMTB cheers fella, next time dude! 🙌
Well ridden look class 🤟
Cheers man, well worth a visit Mark! Great selection of tracks, might be spring before the loam is back though
@@MindfulTrailBiker I was thinking that when you were mentioning all the loan 🤣 they would take some serious riding in winter I bet
@shannonmtb we rode the same area the day after and they were actually surprisingly grippy
If you think eastridge is loamy then there are certain places in Shropshire that will blow your mind!
Sweet, can’t wait to see more. We rode Sunday as well but went back to eastridge as the weather was pants!
Looks mint there mate, nicely put together as always, was out over the weekend & someone was mentioning about how stuff looks a lot steeper in the flesh than on here well some of that looks pretty bloody steep there 💪💪
Thank you buddy! Yeah it was great riding, really fun and just the right amount of steep in the woods! The ridge line average angle was 34 degrees so above that in parts
Hmmmm.. yes, the GoPro effect seems to be coming up more and more in conversations lately; the videos just don’t do any justice to the steepness and technicality of the trails. I think the sense of speed is way better and stabilisation is excellent but the angle is still muted somehow! 👍
Tracks look mega! STEEP defo looks like it lives up to its name
You can probably tell how much I enjoyed them 😂 incredible place to ride and yes, STEEP defo lived up to its name , would have been a mare in the wet! 💦 👍
Loved the footage, well put together. Any vid that gets you thinking "I wanna ride there" is a success. 👍👏
And that my friend makes every minute of thought, recording, stopping, starting, editing and publishing worthwhile! That’s what’s the channel is about.
Thank you 🙏
