Plane was 40 year old and also nepal economy is not good so not Good maintainance of plane.. Also tjere js mountain where pilots don't get training how to fly in that. Mountain route.

Foreign Object Damage(FOD) this is major cause of compressor damage when a/c is on ground which cause damage to compressor blade which leads to changes its geometry and can cause performance deterioration, compressor stall and even engine surge.
And to prevent such damage being caused it is essential for the ground ops to keep a check that runway areas are clear of any foreign object as well as pilot in preflight check ensures that engine intake is free from any foreign object injestion.
