I cannot thank you guys enough for this vid! I've been 'shuffling' for 17 years (here in Melbourne, us old raver veterans- we just call it dancing 😉) I only discovered Matt a few months ago and found this fancy footwork choreography 3 weeks ago and only half an hour ago came across this special 'side channel' with the tutorial I knew existed but couldn't find. I might be homeless- but I'm happy- thanks to you Matt and all the amazing dancers you display, I've had a bright light to help guide me through the darkest months of my life (I mean that LITERALLY) Dance has always saved my ass from my own self, but after adding a hula hoop to my dance pants a few years back- I honestly forgot how much I effing LOVE. LOVE. LOVE- JUST effing LOVE just DANCING. Mark my words I will be joining in, in actual real life person to learn moves from the music master himself and dance amongst the most majestic, magnetic, magic machines I've ever seen. Once I'm on the other side of this massive mountainous life lesson of addiction and I start having goals that don't focus around getting my life 'back on track'... *#1 just duck over to L.A, learn some new smoooth moves, show some groovers how to spin hoops- then go practice and film said new smoooth moves at every iconic place L.A has to offer* 👣 Thank you from the inner most pure part of my soul for all that you do! Take care please!!! I hurt my knee too, even though I warmed up, I think it’s practice and knowing your body We are not perfect dancers and if it is your first try with shuffle, you have to be careful and patient. Don’t force your body!

I also have knee injuries especially when I do a workout or dance in a wrong way but I learnt taking it slow until I master the right way of doing it, that's how I have managed to control myself from knee injuries

Keep trying and keep practicing! You'll get there. At first I found Polly pockets really hard and I sprained my foot. Try to start with lower bpm like 90 or 100. Then slowly increase till u get to their level! Hope this helps!!🔥
