Complete the bracket weld at 4:50, -both sides for control arms. *"JACK STANDS"* Audio is Fine. Pinion Angle? Should point slightly up for those Cordon Joints I believe.

Yep, check before you leave the store. I've handed "new" starters right back to the parts guy after opening them in the store. Glad I did that in the store, vs. at home half an hour away.

Just a little tip when you're doing some paint work in a tight area if you don't feel like taking it all apart mask it off with aluminum foil it conforms really well it keeps the paint off of what you don't want it on and it's real quick
Just a little tip. When tightening a nut and bolt. Turn the bolt in then turn the nut to tightening the 2. It takes more friction and force to turn the bolt. It also tends to Gaul the bolt weakening it. Love the show.

You need to use some sort stand when you are lifting your rig with the forklift...if a hose or something fails the mast and fork carriage will drop like its hot squishing smushy parts : ( sorry, just being a dad...keep the videos rolling in, you are teaching an old dog new tricks ; )
Good job on your new youtube channel. If you would like a little tip. Never use a hammer on u joints. They will fail far sooner than if you use press them in with some oil. At least that has been my experience.
Hey Rudy, I have followed you from Matt's off road recovery . Watching you on that channel was great. You have excellent fabrication skills and are super good at rock crawling. In the video titled " we could have died" I think that you could have driven that SUV out of there without a recovery but your Dad probably had to bite his lip while you drove that thing down.
Understand the need to relocate the fluid reservoir but now you've introduced another issue as the hydraulic hoses will rub on the underside of the hood.
Cool to see the work on your own channel. Like the choice of that deep purple too; wouldn't have thought of that combo, but seeing it, it sure looks good. Man those U-joints were bad though - bet you glad you didn't head there with those still on.
Another suggestion, add music to the parts where you are working. See Cleetus McFarland for examples. Any chance you could give the back story to your shop? Looks like you have a metal fab shop, lots of gates and stuff. How long have you been doing it? People like stories, let your own personality come out. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
i am sure he will develop his own style in time. Its hard to figure out what you want to do without just doing it and making adjustments. Cleetus's production now is way better than it was even a couple of years ago. Same as MOR.
If you do add music, don't make it double volume like most people do. The TV surround sound makes my windows rattle when the music suddenly starts to blast.
Let's hope your UJs last better than my record of 10 (yes TEN) miles of Staffordshire's finest gloopiest stickiest mud before one handed in its notice and totally failed with a broken spider.... (One advantage of our mud is you aren't going very fast even if the torque is off the monster end of the scale, so shafts don't spin for very long)

Ah the pleasures of living near the coast in Scotland! But the view is nice and it adds to the flavour of the Whisky!

Your not wrong at all. But those shock bolts don't need to be very tight, hence the nylon lock.

If you paint the whole Jeep purple. You could call it a the egg plant, or plum. The color you chose is GREAT!

As a BC resident my entire life I would like to say, with all due respect of course,….. you don’t even understand rust from your part of the world hahaha
À good salt water sea breeze, winter snow and ice and summer heat and sun.......... vehicles don't last long and if they're more than a few years old, nobody wants to work on them because every fastener shears off or is so rusty that only vise grips work! Ah the pleasures of living near the coast in Scotland! But the view is nice and it adds to the flavour of the Whisky!

@@dalegereaux1863 Sooooo, You would be a Great contact to help me find my next project Jeep CJ 6 or 7, after I finsh this Cj5 with a full fiberglass body. But that would be a Long haul from there to Northern Ohio east of Toledo. The trip would save me time from battling rust. Let me know if your interested in helping a Bro out. It would be later this year the way things look right now.
