Virgin Atlantic operates an all widebody fleet including 17 Boeing 787-9s and last month I decided to book a flight aboard one of their Dreamliners from New York (JFK) to London (LHR) in economy. I really enjoyed the last flight I took with Virgin aboard one of their new A330neos last year, so I was interested to see what their older 787s was like. I paid for this flight using miles, which entitled me to a free checked bag and I was able to board in group 3. Watch the video for more!

The downstairs security checkpoint is the one typically used by connecting international passengers ~ when upstairs volume is high and downstairs is low, they will direct people departing down to the connections checkpoint.
