I adventure in my old SUV that I pulled the rear seats out of, built a small bed in the back, and loaded up with gear for mountain biking/hiking/kayaking. I know Outdoor Vitals is for ultralight hiking, but space and weight are just as valuable in my rig as my pack. My OV quilt was great in the summer and just kept me warm in the 30's in Oak Creek Canyon. My OV puffy jacket fits in the door cubby and keeps me totally warm at night around the campfire. I got in on the Kickstarter for the Ventus hoody and it was perfect for hiking West Clear Creek in the funky warm then cold canyon. I could go on. And the $10 a month "membership" is basically a savings account for high-quality gear. Love their gear.
I got into cold weather camping and my sleep system failed me. First trip was a cold one. I bought a zero ℉ quilt from outdoor vitals and it was a game changer. I was thoroughly impressed ❤️

I have no complaints other than the pad being to slippery. I am am 64 yr old and have backpacked since I was 16 so I know quality when I use it. Looking forward to my 2022 trip on the CDT.
Outdoor vitals has really come into their own, their quilts and bags are awesome from experience.. their ability to perform besides and outperform much more expensive gear really shows their appreciation for the the sport and for the people that are in it and looking to get into it. All without draining their savings, you can probably kit out your big three and clothes for less than 2/3rds probably 50-60% the cost without losing any performance. Great job!
I want to thank you for letting me know about this company. I have purchased a lot of gear from them over that last few months. I LOVE everything I’ve purchased. Their hiking pants, Novapro (although I haven’t received it yet) the Ventus Hoodie, Loftek booties and hat, and the Dragonwool thermals are all premium gear..Thaks again and love your channel… Greg
Yup. I was a Ventus kickstarter pledge, so I've had mine for a few months, and it's probably the only synthetic layer I own that I truly love. It has a MASSIVE comfort range of temperatures and it's very light and packs down really well. Big win on the Ventus.
The problem with any start-up company is that they are going to pass a lot of issues onto the buyer. This happens with established companies too as they introduce new products. You will see OV reviews talking about fit issues, material issues, etc. It is very important to note the year that the review came out, OV of today is not OV of 3 years ago. OV does seem to address these as they come up and are always trying to better themselves. This means that start-up companies are more likely to hear what their customers are saying compared to the established big brand names. OV would make for an interesting marketing study as they are being very innovative at a lower price point than typical ultralight cottage companies, bringing ultralight gear to a larger audience.

The LofTtek jacket is easily one of the best purchases I have ever made. It is incredibly warm even in frigid weather. I have used it in Northern IL/WI winter (temps around -20 at some points) and I would recommend it 10/10. Super light weight, super comfortable, versatile, etc. However, the branding a year or two ago was a struggle. The new Owl branding is so much better.
I recently bought the OV LoftTek jacket for $112. I have to say I was disappointed. The price was right, the quality and design are good, and it is very packable, but there is essentially no loft. LoftTek might perform on par with down, but you still need to put some of it in the jacket. This is a cool, but not cold, weather jacket. I am quite comfortable wearing the LoftTek jacket zipped up while in my house at 65 degrees. The REI Magma 850 Down Hoodie 2.0 easily has 2-3 times the loft of the LoftTek jacket.

I have a handful of product from them. I bought the new Shadowlight backpack 60L for my son in the first run during their first run of the product. We used if for a 260 mile thru hike in the Sierra which included the entire John Muir Trail. My son fell in love with this pack (he has a ton backpacking experience). We ware the same size pack so I carried if for several months one day. The pack carry’s weight nicely. We had 8 days of food to carry at one point plus the bearvault 500…. No troubles at all! Very comfortable AND the pockets allow for some fantastic organization on trail.
Dan....I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about my new backpack!!! Lol....especially the little pockets in the sides. 😉 I got one at the beginning of the summer 2021....I would recommend it highly to anyone. I am 61,,, did over 100 miles this summer in Montana... one was a 56 mile hike...I had NO discomfort on my lower back or shoulders like I do with my Gregory .
The truth is, is getting better and better every year. I’ve got the loftek hoodie. It’s replaced my ghost whisperer and other puffies. The mummy pod is my new sleeping bag.
I’ve gotten some of their gear recently. Dragonwool Hoodie - excellent piece of gear. I’d say it’s a tad overpriced for what it is, but I got it off the Kickstarter, so well worth that price. Also, the sale prices for it, definitely worth it. Great level of warmth for a baselayer or an early autumn/late spring for most people. Shadowlight - I got it as a 45L pack, I think this is really where this pack should live. I’d compare it to a slightly lower quality Gossamer Gear Mariposa, but the Mariposa is just too big at 60l for targeting the UL market. I think some of the design choices for the Shadowlight are more made just to be different/flashy, instead of keeping it 100% function. I think it’s a mix of a few ideas and doesn’t all flow as well as it could. Still a good bag and a perfect size to weight ratio.
I also got the Dragonwool Hoodie as an add-on when I supported their Kickstarter campaign for the Satu adventure pants. Both are terrific items I still use to this day on most hiking/backpacking trips.
I got a ventus Hoodie. Just used 3 times, I bought it to trail run in, perfect for the job for early morning runs, cold, wet etc. Love it. Saw you talk about it Mr. DB. Also waiting on my nova pro to arrive
Did you purchase all these products at the usual price? Did you pay for all the trips you went on with OV? Have they ever paid you any money or expenses?
Great video. I recently had an issue with a bag that I bought from them back in 2020 and their customer service was amazing!!! I used my sleeping bag daily for 6 months each year. Daily!!! That's real hard use. I can't say enough good things about their stuff.
I found Outdoor Vitals by doing a search for American Made Back packing gear. I bought a coat, hammock, and a sleeping bad. I was so disappointed to find out they out source all production out of the country. Very misleading and I will not buy from them again because of that. To many great gear companies that are truly "Made In America".
I ran across this video because I've been using a 30 degree underquilt and it's fantastic. As a disabled hiker I borrowed my friends for a year until I saved up enough to buy my own. I have 2 pieces of gear I spent real money on; my backpack, and this underquilt.
I love their center zip sleeping bag (15°). I usually use it upside-down unzipped like a quilt. Super comfortable with all options available. Pillows are good too. (Fyi, the best camping is motorcycle camping!)
Yes, the non-sewnthrough puffy design is a big thing now. OV had joined MH and Eddie Bauer, and there's probably others doing this. A couple manufacturers are also using stretch fabric to minimize the pump action that brings in cold air as you move and retains the air your body has already warmed. There's one sleeping bag maker I seen using stretch material, too, this may become a bigger trend of it works well. I do like the pit zips on the OV design, great idea. I need to check out the Ventus hoody, sounds like a great idea for our wet PNW climate and an alternative to fleece or wool.
I’m a fan , just got there 15 degree synthetic quilt , love it , very well made and warm cozy , loft is amazing , I’m very impressed , and it was a fair price , compresses great , it’s perfect for me
I have the DragonWool hoodie, which I love. And I got the Dominion 2P tent. First time out I got caught in a thunderstorm w/tornado warning up on Mt. Garfield. It withstood it and myself and me gear stayed perfectly dry. Side note: their support & customer service is top notch, including their Facebook page.
I bought their backpack when it first came out and thought I would give it a try: The divided front pocket for me is a deal killer. (I thought I could make it work but in the end it was no go.) The other thing that I did not like about the pack was the two upper side pockets are not stretchy. They are made of the same material as the pack itself and do not stretch. If outdoor vitals would fix these "two problems", I would definitely buy the pack again (Yes, I gave it away to someone else) and use it. Pass it on......
I have both Nova jackets and bought my daughters one. As for the Ventus; I have 3 of them, I love them. As well as the dragon tooth hoodie and Santu pants.
I got their pillow and it’s *gasp!* more comfortable than my travel pillow I’d been using. It’s legitimately well done. Based on that I’m going to get my next sleeping bag from them.
I have a summit 20 degree bag from years ago with 800 fill that I absolutely love. After this video I am anxious to try some of their other gear. You rave about the ventus hoodie so much, I know I will eventually get one.
I love outdoor vitals. I have the Shadowlight backpack which was a game changer for my backpacking adventures! I have the dragon wool hoodie, the new Ventus and a Lofttek jacket. I do have the top quilt and under quilt which I love both.. You can't go wrong with their products. Glad to see you spreading the word Dan.
Outdoor Vitals has some really nice indicative gear. I like the fact that the owner goes into the field and tests his gear. I really enjoyed watching you go backpacking with these guys to test their gear and would definitely purchase from them.
Im glad to see that they have made great strides in the past couple of years. I passed on OV but now I am excited to try out their products. Recently bought their 0 degree quilt and absolutely love it. It has replaced my mummy bag. Dan hates that quilt drawstring position. Haha😂. I don’t mind it. Ive only had it on my face once but tucking it in or just brushing it aside has been my easy solution. Would love to try their apparel clothing products.
Dan, I appreciate that I’ve learned a lot from your channel the past few years, but many videos are just thinly-veiled commercials. I’m not hating on you for monetizing the craft, but it makes it hard to take your reviews as seriously as others.
Got to agree about the tightening cord around the neck. UGQ and Hammock Gear both do the same thing and it's annoying as heck. May have to pick up the Ventis hoodie. Living in Texas, I rarely need a puffy, but something like that hoodie would be nice, given the only other things I have like it are waffle top mil surplus second layer tops.
Gotta be honest: A red flag and a huge turn off for me is the membership and then still having kickstarters for products. They are an established company now, you shouldn’t have to give them money to help them bring products to market.
As a member (which cost nothing) you still get rebates and bonus on kickstarter projects. Or you can wait a few weeks and buy them with membership money from the web site, not a big issue. I still prefer buying great stuff on kickstarter than buying supposed great gear overpriced in local stores from big companies.
@@frankypelletier1562 you prefer a kickstarter item rather than an item that has been on the market that has numerous reviews that you can read….. gambling man?
Kickstarter is a pre-sale system that costs them 30% which they must see as worth it rather than making a huge investment. It helps them guage the market demand and minimize the risk to wasting money and their company.
I’ve always liked the kickstarter option to get new gear at a discount and also to help keep bigger investors out of the picture so it doesn’t sway things. Supported several of them and will continue to support them
Ventura’s Hoodie….. quite honestly, its a home run. I’m not easily impressed. I have some high end puffies that cost serious $$$. The Ventus is surprisingly warm for the weight and is extremely versatile. I use it for backpacking, winter fly fishing in the NE and even running on cold days…. One of the best purchases I’ve made in three years… and I have a lot of high end gear.
As someone who lives in Arizona it’s hard to purchase something that is so warm but the Storm top quilt looks super warm. Maybe when it snows in the Grand Canyon! 😆☃️☃️
Rethinking all of my gear now to lighten the load. Thanks for the video. It helps a lot in all that i am looking at. Definitely going to get some OV gear.
I mean, they gave you a bunch of free gear right? Just saying. I think the line between sponsorship is blurry on TH-cam but I definitely believe that you are real about your suggestions. Although, Moore budget great please
I love OV gear...I have the loftek jacket and the ventus hoody as well as the sleeping bag ..and all have been tested and works beautifully...just ordered the novapro jacket.
I've been using their zero degree Mummypod while hammock camping in Fall & Winter for a few years now & love the thing! Also use Kylmit's Hammock Insulated Static V sleeping pad in conjunction & have been getting the best nights sleep. Will have to seriously look at that top quilt!
I can say that I've tried them, very near to when they started. In the beginning, some of their stuff was hit or miss, but affordable. I can say that they do keep surprising me and as you stated keep upping their game and innovating, while remaining affordable. It's nice to see a company that is passionate about and uses their products. Too many companies are more worried about their brand and lose their quality in the process.
I have always slipped my snapped quilt over my head and the. Cinched the cord fro the inside without looking at it. Then I just pull the cord down to my chest and the slide runs like a necklace below my Adam’s apple. Not sure how your quilt is different or how you would improve it. I had a sleeping bag that cinched from the sides and didn’t like it because it was difficult to manipulate. Great video on these products though. Love cottage industries and your videos the Bryce picks on, Kyle Hates and the Shill Bros, try to emulate!
Top quilt centre draw toggle issue, I tuck the excess cord inside with me. You inspired me to buy their new top quilt after using my Hammockgear top-quilt on the deck for years...All the best Danny boy...bex

Perfect timing! I watched the video when you went out with the Outdoor Vitals guys the other day and wanted more info about both the hoodie and that jacket. The hoodie is in my cart, I just pulled the trigger on the $80 Decathlon puffer from one of your other videos seems it’s an awful lot of jacket for $80…
Agree 100% with the Ventus Hoodie review. I just used it this weekend in Northern Wisconsin and temps were in the low 30s with snow. I was wearing just the hoodie with a light Columbia half-zip underneath and I almost got too warm at some points. Water resistant, warm, super lightweight. What more could you ask for? Also used their LoftTek booties which kept my feet warm in 25 degree weather at night.
Love Outdoor vitals and cannot wait to receive my KotaUL backpack. Can't agree with you more about the Ventus Hoodie its amazing. And yes Ive always wondered about that cord thing on my Loftek quilt it never made sense to have it there. I hav though a little pocket or something to tuck the extra cord into would be nice.
I hiked 270 miles of the CT with the Shadow light and I pretty much agree with you about your love and hates but I'll add the tension cords on the upper pockets don't hold and the over the top strap is worthless. I also had problems with the frame always popping out on me which was very frustrating. I wish the hip belt pockets were waterproof. The pack feels like a 1st generation that needs some more work. I'm looking for a new pack for next summer
After much internal debate, I recently purchased their much advertised puffer jacket. I ordered a 3X size so I could layer with wool for cold weather hiking. Unfortunately, it was so small I couldn’t even zip it up. There was a two inch gap. It was very disappointing. As a comparison, I have a 3X Eddie Bauer puffer jacket and it fits loosely, so it’s not me. To their credit, they took it back and refunded my money.
I came here to say this. They paid for a backpacking trip for Dan to travel and hike with them. They indirectly paid for this video. Dan is getting pretty disingenuous.
Probably isn’t paid for directly, but he is probably biased. Anyone who has a relationship with a company or the people who work there is going to be biased. As long as it’s truthful, I don’t think that’s inherently bad.
That jacket looks near identical to my mountain hardware stretchdown hoodie (which I absolutely love). Even down to the No stitching, although I think the MH is welded. would be curious to see if it’s as hardy as the MH, as I’ve dragged mine to hell and back without issue
Don’t put anything in the top pockets and they won’t interfere or alternatively cut a hole in it so the poles push through. I love the jacket and would love them to do a double quilt in the woven baffles for home use.
I have the 0 degree quilt and it's amazing 😍 was thinking about going to enlightened equipment but I'm not, quilt is enough for my thru hike...I hope they make a 0 degree seamless quilt like there jacket
Dan, noob question here: What do you wear to sleep in? Went on a November backpack trip w/ my son's boyscout troop. I had a sleeping bag rated to 20*, which I now realize only means survival and not comfort. But I froze my butt off. Do you carry separate sleep gear or how do you handle it? I mean, other than investing in a more expensive sleeping bag.
I always wonder why OV gear is never listed in any of the best of lists, not even as a reference point. Like "we've tried this and this is why we didn't like it."
As always Dan great video! I’m a bit of a noob to backpacking and I’m really considering purchasing this new top quilt. Up in the air on getting either the 0 or 15* version but would like to ask you or anyone that would comment on what’s your going to bed attire? I don’t really hear anyone speaking about this? I’m mostly a car camper and my sleeping bags are supper toasty and I’m in shorts and a T-shirt when it’s 25* but I’m thinking obviously that can’t be the case here in say 30* temps with a UL top quilt can it? ( aside from freezing my nads off in the morning when I get out of this.) is just a base layer Sufficient or is it Required to obtain that listed comfort level of the top quilt or any UL sleep system? Love the videos!! You’ve been supper insightful, informative, and fun to watch! Keep doing what you’re doing and I’ll keep watching!! Thanks!
Hey Herman! Really appreciate the encouragement. Don’t hesitate about buying this quilt. It’s honestly the best one I’ve ever used. Not the lightest out there and there are ones that have even more customization but this one keeps me super warm at its rated temperature and does not have any drafts as long as you use the pad straps with it. As far as attire for sleeping… That totally depends on you. Start off with some layers and take them off as you get warm throughout the night. Just keep in mind that quilts are a learned experience. It may take a few nights before you figure it out as it seems you’re used to a sleeping bag. Check out this video I made on quilts and sleeping bags… th-cam.com/video/PeWGHGbRZlM/w-d-xo.html

One thing is for sure, those gears are hideous. And the bag is just a piss poor copy of the Mariposa, while the insulated jacket is a copy of the Patagonia Micro Puff.
Love my Ventus Hoodie. Also Love my Dragon Wool Hoodie but wish they came in women’s sizing because the men’s sizing sleeves are too long. I’m waiting on my NOVAUL jacket. Dan can you do a review on that jacket too? I agree with you Outdoor Vitals has some great gear at very reasonable prices.
I have their inflatable pillow. I've tried it a few times and don't care for it. The round (kidney) shape of it doesn't fit well with me. I'm used to a squared off pillow when sleeping at home. Then trying to use something that's a totally different shape while out on the trail doesn't do me well. A square inflatable pillow does me well. It does seem to be built and designed well. The air valve is better designed than my other inflatable pillow.
Nothing can change my mind. they released a scam website and tried to act like they didnt. They may have changed it since, but it was so bad and so slimy it should of never been released. It was one of those scam websites there it constantly ties to add things to your cart with tricky buttons and website misdirection. I havent seen one of those scammer websites since 2008.
Bummer with their redesigns, only kidding sort of. I have the dragoon wool, Ventus , 60L Shadowlight, Neck Gaiter and have the KotaUL on order. Love the Ventus the only thing that would make it better is that if I lost my belly. Great video Dan
I'm a little bummed that I pulled the trigger on the old style quilt last year. I like it, it's fine, but the new version seems to directly address the issues I have the old one. Not in my budget to replace it already, unfortunately.

I watch your vedio about the top quilt a few mouths back but went for it anyway so glad I did and glad you have reviewed it it's amazing kit for the price like the ooo of the Ventris hoodie
I noticed you have your camera attached to your strap, I am looking for a very light pack that will fit a Peak Design camera clip! Does it fit well or bounce around? Open to other suggestion! Thanks!!
When your reviewed the stormloft quilt the first time you didn't like the fabric too slippery and you thought it would be clingy in warmer temps. Have they changed that too or just the shape.
That pack is the worse design I've ever seen. When the zipper fails (and it will sooner or later) your going to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with a pack that won't close. I can't believe someone would actually advocate for this being a "good" pack. This is so bad, someone could actually mistake it for a satire piece

Yeah I can get a Enlightened Equipment Custom Torid jacket cheaper and made in Minnesota
I ran across this video because I've been using a 30 degree underquilt and it's fantastic. As a disabled hiker I borrowed my friends for a year until I saved up enough to buy my own. I have 2 pieces of gear I spent real money on; my backpack, and this underquilt.
I'd love to have a bunch of "Dan Becker Approved" stickers for all of my gear. The look on other peoples faces when I setup camp would be priceless!
I have an old version of the Aerie 20°F 5-in-1. I love it. I use it as an underquilt, a pod, a topquilt, and a blanket.
I love their center zip sleeping bag (15°). I usually use it upside-down unzipped like a quilt. Super comfortable with all options available. Pillows are good too. (Fyi, the best camping is motorcycle camping!)
I love their gear and own quite a bit of it. OV has never let me down yet.
Got one of their hammock socks and it’s awesome. No bugs, no cold drafts. Super light.
I love my Outdoor Vitals Stormloft Quilt. You didn’t lose the strap, they only come with one and you choose where you want to attach it.
I have the same sleep system, Nemo and O.V. top quilt.... so sweet. Love the channel Dan!
I bought their backpack when it first came out and thought I would give it a try: The divided front pocket for me is a deal killer. (I thought I could make it work but in the end it was no go.)
The other thing that I did not like about the pack was the two upper side pockets are not stretchy. They are made of the same material as the pack itself and do not stretch. If outdoor vitals would fix these "two problems", I would definitely buy the pack again (Yes, I gave it away to someone else) and use it. Pass it on......
There discounts are great, my 15 degree was $175 I just really cant complain at all with a price like that. 56 inch wide also
I have both Nova jackets and bought my daughters one. As for the Ventus; I have 3 of them, I love them. As well as the dragon tooth hoodie and Santu pants.
As a side sleeper (when I have to go to ground), I actually prefer the cord in the middle
The divided front pocket makes no sense, one more thing to break and useless with a pack liner. I like the taller frame.
Get it im in tx too and its perfect
They also used kickstarter to help them break away from re branded Chinese products, so they can pursue making their own
I’ve always liked the kickstarter option to get new gear at a discount and also to help keep bigger investors out of the picture so it doesn’t sway things.
I agree with the side pockets, I'd much rather the ones on the gossamer gear mariposa, but for me that centre zip is a game changer.
Oh, I always forget this bit, great show Dan I always enjoy your content!
I love OV gear...I have the loftek jacket and the ventus hoody as well as the sleeping bag ..and all have been tested and works beautifully...just ordered the novapro jacket.
OV has definitely stepped up their game. I got the shadow light and I am definitely eyeballing a Ventus
Within the first minute i was really glad ur title n face wasn't was what u thought of OV. The little I have from them is top shelf merchandise!!
“Not sponsored”
How is it in comparison to the HG?
@@kylemckinney_22 The HG premium is like silk on the skin, and warm (I am a cold sleeper) The draft collar is a must, its compact lofts quickly. 0C 850FP 950 grams with over stuff....
@@bexbugoutsurvivor How is the stormloft?
@@kylemckinney_22 If it gets damp it will still collapse, just like untreated down. The misconception is stormloft or DWD is some kind of magic bullet waterproofing, which is not the case. But once air dried. the feathers quickly regain loft, to insulate for the following evening, unlike untreated down that remains collapsed until tumble dried...
Just took advantage of their 12 days of Christmas sale. Looking forward to it coming in the mail.
I love outdoors vital, I’m excited to see what else they have in the near future. Honestly 90% of my gear is through them.
I want that nova pro jacket, looks good and I bet it performs even better
I was pretty sold, but now. That’s it. I know what things I will be getting for our future trips
Great video Dan, I bought a few items from them after seeing their eq on your channel ... filled a few holes in my gear list! Down Booties ftw.
I’m impressed with Outdoor Vitals gear but to say this video is not paid for by them is bull.
Unfortunately most likely true. I’m all about competition in the market it’ll only make both better though.
I came here to say this. They paid for a backpacking trip for Dan to travel and hike with them. They indirectly paid for this video. Dan is getting pretty disingenuous.
Who paid you to say that?
Probably isn’t paid for directly, but he is probably biased. Anyone who has a relationship with a company or the people who work there is going to be biased. As long as it’s truthful, I don’t think that’s inherently bad.
That jacket looks near identical to my mountain hardware stretchdown hoodie (which I absolutely love). Even down to the No stitching, although I think the MH is welded. would be curious to see if it’s as hardy as the MH, as I’ve dragged mine to hell and back without issue
Wow a 15 minute commercial for outdoor vitals. I'd ask for stock b4 they go public Dan! 😀
I have there shadow light pack and storm loft top quilt and love them! Amazing price and amazing products!!
I wish they released the prototype bright blue shadow light bag they have on their youtube videos.
@@DanBecker thanks for the reply Dan! Wish it were colder to test this out but pretty sure I’m going to go ahead and pull the trigger on this ! Thanks!!
I just commented on their lack of women’s sizing too. Hopefully others will storm the gates to get them to move in that direction
I just got the zero top and underquilt. Thanks for the review
The Ventus is great. You can roll 3 seasons without a puffy. Only one complaint. Good lord is that thing hard to get on and off. Non stretch fabric.
I have one of their 0F° sleeping bag and I really like it.
Dam right they have great gear. I’m part of the UL membership. The new gear is awesome!
Looking at their new seamless jacket. Liked your previous review on it too.
Definitely want a Ventus , awesome stuff Danno
I'm a little bummed that I pulled the trigger on the old style quilt last year. I like it, it's fine, but the new version seems to directly address the issues I have the old one. Not in my budget to replace it already, unfortunately.
I just recently purchased one of their all synthetic jackets sorry cannot remember what they call it I hope someday to be able to wear it the design I would call it a trim fit extra large but I do not have the perfect v-shape I have a dad bod
I’d like to see your review on Duluth trading company hiking gear , I use the o yeah cargo hiking pants and the eco puffin Alaskan headgear jacket , I like their stuff but def wanna head your opinion
Thanks Dan I like outdoor vitals. ✌️👊
I watch your vedio about the top quilt a few mouths back but went for it anyway so glad I did and glad you have reviewed it it's amazing kit for the price like the ooo of the Ventris hoodie
Glad it was helpful!
Bought my wife one of there down jacket she loves it
I got the regulator jacket i keep getting feathers all over my clothes but it does keep you warm
It’s still very similar if not the same. Not my fav but it works fine. It’s not as sticky/slippery as I originally thought
Love it love it Dan! What is your favorite Osprey pack???
Depends on what you’re doing. A good traditional pack is the Aether. A good lightweight pack is the Exos
Wow. You really haven't thought that through, have you?
OV makes some good things, I like their venous jacket. However their packs and other jackets are heavier than they need to be with too much unnecessary stuff on them. They are in the lightweight category, definitely not ultralight.
I have the 15゚ quilt 2 and thinking on getting a shuttle light backpack
The zipper on the pack is useless if the pack isn’t waterproof. You gotta use a liner.
