- Nepal Everest Trek | FIRST Time Seeing Mount Everest 🇳🇵 is a video where I fly to Nepal in 2022 and visit Lukla to start our trek in Nepal in 2022. The journey begins from Lukla with a 5-hour trek to the next destination in the Himalayas, Phakding. I travel with my wife and the 2 incredible Sherpas, their names are Rinji and Mingma. Absolutely unbelievable human beings are helping our trek through the mountains of Nepal in 2022. In this video, we will be travelling from Namche Bazaar in Nepal, one of the world's most famous places to trek to Everest View Hotel in Nepal, which is one of the highest hotels in the world!

Hi Yak, I am really loving your EBC videos and looking forward to the next one. I agree with the others here - your videos are truly the best EBC videos on you tube - the filming, music and commentary is truly outstanding. I am going to EBC in September 2022 - next month and I am terrified since I am not an athlete or a regular trekker. For me it is a bucket list item and, of course, a real challenge …. hope I can do it. Your videos make me feel like I am really there and are helping me tremendously with preparing myself for what to expect. All the other videos show the beauty but seem to describe briefly or skip over the difficult parts - you cover it all beautifully.
Like you, it will be the 2 of us with a guide and a porter. I am also afraid of heights and not overly keen on stairs … but from your filming I can see that it is all worth it. Also, you are a very good film maker and the length of the videos are perfect - your editing, narration and sense of timing is excellent. Furthermore, if you put all the episodes end to end they will add up to a good amount of viewing time. I am glad that I found your channel.
Please wish me good luck and any positive tips so I can make the journey - I worry that I will be gone before I can see you reach Everest base camp and do the return journey.
And, please tell me how long you two have been on your journey and how long your holiday is - I can see from your video channel that you have been on the road for over a month already.
Nepal got a lot of trails, EBC only isn't the beautiful trail u should consider other trails also bro.
Hey Jean, firstly, thank you so much for your incredible message as having incredible messages like yours truly gives me more passion to carry on creating and sharing with the world.
Honestly, me and my wife are not professional hikers at all. We’ve completed probably a few hikes only and nothing of difficulty. There were people of all levels on the trek and everyone taking there own time at their own pace.
Once you get there the feeling you will have inside of you will push you through any fear barrier you have and you will be able to do it, as with myself. I never expected to do cross those bridges but I somehow did!
Best tips I can share with you is to make sure to enjoy the experience as much as possible, ensure you’ve got comfortable trekking clothing you can buy it all from Kathmandu for great prices. Don’t overpack because if you need anything you can buy things on your way. Stay in Kathmandu for a few days so your body can climatise. Having a guide with you will make things much easier as it did with us as it gave us the extra confidence we needed to know we had a professional with us.
I’ll be sharing more videos over the coming days and weeks that should help cover some of your questions in more detail.
