I think after Part 9 he'll change up his release schedule again though. It's been monthly for 19 years now, and he might not feel like committing another 10 years to another JoJo part. I wonder if instead he'll have another 'Renaissance' and go with something different. I think he likes the Rohan series of one-offs, so I wonder if he'll do a lot of smaller parts.

I want to do that with my art too. I see many artists give up because they don't get fame or can't make a living from it, and it kind of disgusts me. I hope that once part 9 finishes, there will be more effort put into the jojo magazine. That way, more jojo content can still be put out. It would also give araki more leniency, that way he isn’t too pressured to continue drawing. Seeing more behinds the scenes and spin-off stories would be pretty cool 2
Even when JoJo ends, we'll probably get some great spiritual successors. Imagine how awesome 2030s manga would be that combined what the artist learned from JoJo and their own experiences
To have your PC show you EOH and record it, you just have to connect the PS4 to your PC via a Capture Card (it's an adapter from HDMI to USB), then your PC will see the PS4 as a videocamera, you will just have to open it on OBS or another similar program and then you can record your gameplay (it catches both video and audio)
Honestly, one interesting fact I found was that after Part 3, there is no one called ‘JoJo’. Jonathan, Joseph and Jotaro are all called JoJo but Josuke, Jolyne, Giorno, Johnny and Gappy all are called by their own names. I believe this is symbolic of JoJo ascending above its original trilogy idea and becoming a wider series. (Technically, Johnny is called JoJo but that is a prior nickname he was called and doesn’t get used anymore).
Jolyne has the jojo nickname, Giorno is rarely called GioGio(pronounced the same as Jojo) in sidematerials and while Josuke does not have it as a proper nickname, he is called that once or twice mockingly by other characters. They are definitly still intended to be called as such for continuity with the seriesname, but it just naturally came up less any less, probably because it is kinda tacky and could lead to confusion because multiple Jojos started showing up in the same plots starting with part 3.(Infact, Jotaro himself largely stopped being called by the nickname somewhen in the middle of the part)
I’m hoping at the very least we get through The JoJoLands without Araki’s suddenly passing due to health reasons, but outside of that, I would want it to end at either Part 9(If it provides a satisfying ending to the entire SBRverse and possibly the entire series) or Part 10 to end it on a nice even number. Edit: This is also a completely out there likely impossible ask but I want Jorge Joestar 2 ngl.
Personally if Araki decides to end JoJo, I would like to see him use his unique imagination to make horror stories. I think his way of presenting body horror and his detailed art style would make him strong competition to Junji Ito imo. Part 8 in particular has some moments that made me think of Ito's short story collections.
Crazy how depending on One Piece and Jojo release chapters and how long they take to finish, Jojo might finish before One Piece. Jojolion was 10 years long. Who knows if it ends next year or 2026 or whenever. Maybe Part 10 will be released and then One Piece will fs be over by then. Who knows?
@@truthcrusader360 Jojolion took 10 years to finish. One Piece has at most 6 more years to finish and not to mention Part 10 may or may not happen. Araki may take some hiatus, change his mind for one more part, or he takes longer or as long as Jojolion. And the pacing in One Piece is getting faster than it was. Whatever happens happens.
Im 100% sure Jojolands will end just fine. Araki always puts his health first so even Part 10 is pretty much possible, but mostly with other people helping him
I love jojo with all my hearth absolutely no other anime/manga have i consumed as much as i have jojo but i think 9 parts is a perfect number for a series to end i love all 9 parts some more than other but all 9 are perfect and i want it to be a thing for as long as araki can create more but i fear it could get stale with with every next part so it would hurt if araki ended it on part 9 but it would be understandable
It’s both really nice, but equal parts sad, to think of a world where we’re not getting any new “official” Jojo content from Araki. But the beauty of the Jojo fandom is that we’re always creating. Araki is one of the best mangakas because he fleshed out the world and it’s rules enough to where anyone can create a whole new Part by themselves, telling completely different stories, with completely new characters, in completely new worlds. I wouldn’t put it passed Araki to say outright that he’d be completely ok with people using Jojo and it’s characters to write stories similar to ones we’ve already gotten like CDDH and DMQ. It definitely feels like Jojo might end, but it will never truly be gone/finished due to its fans.
I think if he wants to, he can probably crank out a part 10, but that I think is his upper limit. Ten is a nice, round number and I feel like he would want to end on a nice number like that.
Oh wow- you words over the health of our favorite mangakas and especially that of Araki's is very admirable. Thank you for sharing this into the video.
I wish that after Part 9 is finished, we can have a part 10 that somehow throws all JoJos, JoBros, and JoFoes into one final, intense story. It doesn't have to be as long as the other parts, but could send the story off on one final note.
Hopefully it does get an ending I would be perfectly fine with part 9 being the last part. Araki is getting old and part 9 still has a few years he can just relax after that or if he wants to keep going maybe he will or just do Rohan stuff.
I imagine that if/when JoJo’s ends Araki could make a one shot in which it could be a what if for all the parts. For example what if Dio never went to the Joestar mansion or what if the Pillar Men never awakened
would love to see it reach a complete 10(even if it was a short but would be just as happy even if jojolands is the final story of the series as it was a grand bizarre adventure & getting to see it in 2 universes(especially the one shots/spinoff's that give a look back at the old universe.) is satisfying with the detailed writing i've not seen before and respect araki's imagination. really love to see you cover eyes of heaven as i love the interactions/story of the game & wish we got a definitive version that included the planned characters & fixed the presentation a bit.
It truly won’t end. He’s inspired me to write my own jojo fan part on AO3. It doesn’t mess with canon jojo at all. and everyone in my story is completely original.
Brother, I have very tricky and complex questions for you. As the stand Golden Experience Requiem of Giorno Giovanna can make anything that attacks Giorno reverts back to zero or nullifies it and then it traps the attacker in an infinite death loop. 1) Does this means that if Ben Tennyson attacked Giorno Giovanna in an alien form he will be returned to his normal human form? 2) And if somehow Golden Experience Requiem was able to trap Ben in an infinite death loop, will the omnitrix be able to save Ben from infinite deaths? 3) Can Ben escape that infinite death loop?
It's very safe to say jojo will end at part 9, since jojo inherently is a story told in 3s. parts 1-3 dio+stone mask parts 4-6 the arrow parts 7-9 new universe
I think it'd be fine for JoJo to end with Part 9. Not that I'd want that, and JoJo is unique in the regard that due to its format (parts with distinct casts and largely self-contained stories) it avoids going stale, which lends itself to its longevity, but I still think that the by the end of Part 9, the story will have gone on for long enough to deserve an ultimate conclusion.
I just hope we all get to see every part adapted into anime including Araki. When SBR gets finally announced, its goning to be a monumental moment for me.
Honestly, I hope that part 9 is the final part. He's gonna be in his mid-to-late 70's by the time he finishes part 9, and if he's gonna make a part 10 he'd be between 80-90 when it finishes. There's just a very large risk that something will prevent him from finishing it at that age, and I'd much rather get a definitive ending over something that abruptly ends halfway through. There's so much potential for spinoffs that if he still wants to continue to create, he could make more of those.
Ok, so... Can I suggest a future video topic? It would be fun to see a video detailing JoJo's influence on various other series, like with that Street Fighter video. The first thing I can think of Is Persona.
Remember Jojos is a celebration of life so araki might write it until the end, at most I see a part 12. But I also think that part 9 is probably the end. I don’t think it’s the perfect end but it’s my favourite part so far.
The thing is, JoJo is not like any other story. Where others want to tell a message through the story, JoJo has told the message time and time again in each part, each time compelling more. So even if it just stopped, since the message is already delivered, it wouldn't be that sad.
Yo Mr hamon beat this is a bit out of topic but i wanted to ask why you didn't made more Opening/Ending analysis? i discovered your channel like 5 or 6 months ago and i really love your JoJo content so i don't know if there were some copyright shenanigans. I ask this because i was shocked by the amount of references you pointed out in the Stone Ocean video.
Even if part nine is the end of jojo, it won’t be the end of the bizzare adventure, like you said Araki has created so many stories told through jojo, as long he has the will to create and create he shall, with this the spirit of JoJo will live as long as Araki can muster, I simply wish his health and sanity remain strong throughout it all
I like the idea of there being a part 10, if nothing else just to have a third part with JoJo directly in the title, jojolion, jojolands, JoJoaGoGo, whatever it might be called. Three is a trend, having just two would bother me more than punching a hole through some teenager and realizing his socks were put on inside out.
Something I've always wondered about this topic is, provided he's still healthy and motivated enough, what kind of story would Araki make after JoJo? Evidently that's not going to happen considering he'll be mad old by the end of Part 9 and deserves the break but it's always seemed like there can be more to his creativity than just JoJo given his recent spinoffs and I'm interested in seeing them. Still, what a timeline.
Even his non-Jojo oneshots have the Jojo bizarreness within them. I think he genuinely likes telling his stories that way and will continue doing so until he can't no more. In short, mystery and horror seem to be his jam.
I respect the FUCK out of Araki because the man used Jojo as a way to document to his growth as an artist and as a person. He went from trying to copy what the popular guys were doing (Phantom Blood being a bit of a ripoff of Fist of the North Star), to creating his own unique stories with his own unique characters. It's something that I, an artist who also suffers from identity issues, really look up to!!!
I would think part 10 would be a final part that takes the stakes to the highest level. Since parts 7, 8, and 9 mirror other parts, 10 would mirror part 6.
I think it makes perfect sense for part 9 to be the series' conclusion. JoJo is made up of trilogies. The stone mask trilogy, the stand arrow trilogy, and the alternate universe trilogy. Stardust Crusaders and Stone Ocean both felt like big finales, so I'm sure The Jojolands will be the same way. It'll most likely tie up everything in a bow and expand on the concepts of curses and the flow of the universe, like what Stone Ocean did with the original saga's themes of fate.
Im kind of late but anyway... i like to think that he will continue Jojo's even after part 9, be it spinoffs or short stories, who knows, we might get a whole part if he ages well but it would probably have to be just a little shorter than the ones coming out now.

Imagine Araki casually drops a JoJo Part 10 or a "Final JoJo Part" after JoJolands lol
I’m wishing for that honestly, it would be the final part but it would sign the end of an era
@@angelicart.6 Do you mean Part 9 as the last or a Part after?

New fear unlocked:
Possibility of Araki dying
Laws in japan need to improve the worker conditions, its so sad seeing good artists passing away so soon
To me, it doesn't matter when or if it ends, it's been already a beautiful (and bizarre) journey, one to be remembered forever.
Even when JoJo ends, we'll probably get some great spiritual successors. Imagine how awesome 2030s manga would be that combined what the artist learned from JoJo and their own experiences

I kinda hope araki doesn’t feel like he needs to tell these long stories with over a hundred chapters. Who knows part 9 may only go for 5-7 years.
Hopefully no time soon 🙏🏾
Personally if Araki decides to end JoJo, I would like to see him use his unique imagination to make horror stories. I think his way of presenting body horror and his detailed art style would make him strong competition to Junji Ito imo. Part 8 in particular has some moments that made me think of Ito's short story collections.
I hope the ending will just be good as Part 6.
I hope it goes to part 10 it would be cool
I swear all these mangaka are just like, chosen by god to make manga for as long as possible and love it the entire time (passion I guess)
When araki turns into a baby and is unable to write
I feel bad for laughing at this honestly 🥲
It will end when we discover the one piece.
Who knows?
@@JoyconsRUnDriftable-dx9vv
There’s no conceivable way JoJos will end before one piece when it’s final part started after OP’s Final saga.

Araki always puts his health first so even Part 10 is pretty much possible, but mostly with other people helping him
I love jojo with all my hearth absolutely no other anime/manga have i consumed as much as i have jojo but i think 9 parts is a perfect number for a series to end i love all 9 parts some more than other but all 9 are perfect and i want it to be a thing for as long as araki can create more but i fear it could get stale with with every next part so it would hurt if araki ended it on part 9 but it would be understandable
another absolute banger of a video
It's always nice to take an extended break to watch Hamon Beat's videos.
Something very cozy about just listening to JoJo topics. ☕
i just hope he’s alive for when jojo part 8 anime comes out & he can explain flash back man to the animators.
Hell yeah, I want news on flashback man so bad
I hope that Araki will keep such a bad memory, so he will keep forgetting to get old
JoJo is the only long runner that doesn't get boring.
Exclusively because it changes it's plot completely everytime
I think if he wants to, he can probably crank out a part 10, but that I think is his upper limit. Ten is a nice, round number and I feel like he would want to end on a nice number like that.
Ten could bring back Kars
@@Ultras_450it couldnt, he doesnt exist in the current universe

I like that idea.
Thank God this came out during dinner time
I think another part would be great after this one. Araki is content with jojo being his magnum opus and I wish him a long life too.
would love to see it reach a complete 10(even if it was a short but would be just as happy even if jojolands is the final story of the series as it was a grand bizarre adventure & getting to see it in 2 universes(especially the one shots/spinoff's that give a look back at the old universe.) is satisfying with the detailed writing i've not seen before and respect araki's imagination.
really love to see you cover eyes of heaven as i love the interactions/story of the game & wish we got a definitive version that included the planned characters & fixed the presentation a bit.
I hope Araki has chosen a successor, just in case something happens
I hope so
I love you hamon beat
It truly won’t end. He’s inspired me to write my own jojo fan part on AO3. It doesn’t mess with canon jojo at all. and everyone in my story is completely original.
This question has been on my mind for years
bro legit looked at new JoJolands and instantly thought "When Will JoJo End?"
Araki aint dying, he got the hamon
Araki is one of my favorite mangaka of all time. I hope he can live as long as possible in good health
It's very safe to say jojo will end at part 9, since jojo inherently is a story told in 3s.
parts 1-3 dio+stone mask
parts 4-6 the arrow
parts 7-9 new universe
Part 3 is also the arrow.
@@Timmy-mi2efbut no arrow was seen
Im gonna die before part 9 anime drops 😭
Why?
Please don't, I'd miss you
I think it'd be fine for JoJo to end with Part 9.
Jojo has always been about passing the torch to the next generation, it will live on.
I just hope we all get to see every part adapted into anime including Araki. When SBR gets finally announced, its goning to be a monumental moment for me.
i had no idea how long this manga really was til now
Honestly, I hope that part 9 is the final part.
Another 63 years probably cause araki is a vampire
He's the Ultimate Being since he can go out in sunlight.
I hope its the final part.JoJo works best divided in 3 trilogies and I wouldn't want Araki to become ill or have his work unfinished.
Probably in part 9
Then Araki will make spin off and rohan episodes until he retires.
we are in part 9 my guy
Araki🐐
I hope theres a jojo part 10 since the number 10 is nice
Araki knows the secret of Hamon which not only gives him a youthful look but also a longer life just like Joseph.
Araki is the ultimate life form
I think Thus spoke Kishibe Rohan will become Araki's back door into the Jojoverse when he's done.
Jojo cured my depression
I feel like if the main Jojo series continues after part 9, Araki would probably have a lot less involvement with it
I just rediscovered this guy
I hope araki doesn't have the same fate as Akira toriyama rest in peace with him.
5:08 he clearly knows hamon
A.K.A. “When will Hamon Beat’s suffering end?”
He did NOT wanna say dr piss at the end
if araki ever retires it would be nice if he picked out a successor to continue jojo like toriyama did
When hell freezes over( or a week after that.)
I need the end to be part 10, it would be heaven
Nah I’m going to get his permission to make the 10th part, MIRACLES OF LOVE
I would think part 10 would be a final part that takes the stakes to the highest level. Since parts 7, 8, and 9 mirror other parts, 10 would mirror part 6.
My best guess is that if anybody is going to continue the manga, Kouhei Kadono is going to do it.
Do you think all Colony Stand users need to have a fractured psyche to get a Colony stand? Or is it just a Mista thing?
