- Take a dive into the Frick Archives! Sally Brazil, Barbara G. Fleischman Associate Chief Librarian for Archives and Records Management, takes us on a tour of three decorative arts-related collections housed in the Frick Art Reference Library: the research archive of Winthrop Kellogg Edey, a noted collector of clocks and watches; the inventory of the Italian silversmith Luigi Valadier; and the archive of Bernard and Lydia Starr, central figures in the collecting of Wedgwood ceramics. To learn more about our extensive archival holdings, visit archives.frick....
Stay tuned! The next part of the library’s anniversary series will continue after we return to our renovated Fifth Avenue home in late 2024.

I love these series
Thank you
Thanks for sharing these insights with us. I do have a question, is the Frick family Archive just the Frick family in NYC or does it include the Frick family in Pittsburgh too? If I remember correctly Pitt held all the Frick family records for Pittsburgh, but there was talk about separating out the Labor records from the house, philanthropy and art collections? But I don’t remember hearing how or if that was truly resolved.
