Ans :when you mix an oil-based cleanser with water, it lathers up. This process of lathering is called emulsifying.. some cleansers don’t emulsify, as in they don’t form any foamy texture, which can make your skin look oily & the oil n gunk may get into your pores as well..Hence the cleansers that emulsify are considered good, because it's emulsified, it will pick up water better, so therefore, when you're rinsing it off, it can also be cleaned off and rinsed off more easily so you don't leave any debris from your cleansers or anything else you're applying on your face that can further contribute to acne, breakouts, and pimples.

The answer is : Emulsifying is a process used during the double cleansing. Basically the cleansing blam/oil first needs to be massaged for at least 60sec and then by taking a small quantity of water (preferably Luke warm) to emulsify it. In this emulsify process water takes off the cleansing blam by lathering it up, so that after washing skin doesn't feel oily. This is a very important step during double cleanse, if not done properly the cleansing blam doesn't wash off properly.

If one takes ghee in a plate and add tiny bit of water and keep whisking it for a very long time with help of a bowl, it will mix and create a buttery soft cream like substance which is an example of emulsion which can be used as a face and body moisturiser.
When one applies a cleansing balm on the face that has makeup/ sunscreen been applied to it, the oil in the cleansing balm dissolves the oil in the makeup/sunscreen and our natural oil.
