Two things real quick. That theory that is at the end of the video, was mainly inspired by me playing God Of War again. Also for those in the back that didn't hear me. I DON'T THINK THIS CHAPTER IS BAD!
I like it overall. Kinda makes sense to not care much about what happens in it besides the end since this is mainly another downtime chapter that leads into whatever's next. People are blowing things out of proportion in my opinion.
I don't have a problem in this chapter like we also got a filler like chapter before after they beats the Water God Dragon though where they found out a guild named "Fairy Nail".

Yea Even though I was expecting hiro to take a filler chapter after a big arc like how we had the Fairy nail arc after the mercuphobia arc I’m still kinda upset because this chapter was just Fanservice it was still cool no doubt but I do wish we had More plot progression
@@ironnancy there was a lot of speculation and theories that elentir is selene but selene didn't give the white witchher real name thus calling her "that woman" during the aldoron arc.
Hiro needs a month to think about how to set things for the next arc. I think the only reason he made a filler chapter is cuz of his priority that he mainly focus on aka Edens Zero.
I swear to God..... Juvia has to be amongst the top 10 craziest stalkers in anime....... I mean seriously she just JUMPED..... INTO GRAY'S MOUTH!? I haven't laughed this hard over any FT funny moment.... I honestly have no issues with fillers as long as they are fun
Personally I disagree that this filler chapter is unnecessary. To us is may seem like the series doesn't need a break simply because it's biweekly and we get plenty of time to absorb the chapters and move on, but we are completely disregarding how it is to Hiro Mashima and his team. We may get a break but they don't. They work effortless day in and day out to give us not only Fairy Tail but also Edens Zero. They're working to create two amazing stories at the same time which is more than most other Manga creators. I'm sure most people here aren't manga creators, so who are we to judge how it feels to make one. All i'm saying is that although we may not need a break, maybe Hiro Mashima does. I'd rather a half decent filler chapter and then an amazing normal chapter as oppose to no filler and a half decent normal one. I apologise for ranting but it's just how I feel. Regardless we can all agree that both Edens Zero and Fairy Tail are amazing so why bother dissing them when we can just enjoy them. I also agree with Homeslice that these chapters breath life into the characters we love, and not everything has to be straight forward and linear.

Her leaving? Absolutely dumb and an overuse of a trope. They found her quickly which just made the whole thing pointless. Just make the chapter about Lucy and Brandish then do the white witch thing. Also as to why he does cool down chapters. You got to consider how Mashima's mental state is. He's not drawing it 100 years quest for a reason. The fact that we have it, even though it's clear he's suffering from Burnout, is something we should appreciate. So, if getting some less than stellar chapters means we can get the normal 🔥 then fine by me

I want filler chapters/ chill and funny chapters like this, but my suggestion is that add it as a short story before the actual story begins
