Hey Aza, I've been following your RTA videos for quite a while now, and I always wondered how to look at and increase gear. This was definitely helpful to watch, but you brought up good points on how it is not great content-wise speaking. I think YT shorts would be a great way to include crafting, such as speed/montage crafting or you can highlight great pieces you got in a showcase. Happy holidays!

I’m not opposed to just seeing shorts or like cycopath is doing and posting in the community tab showing off good pieces you got and rolled but I probably fall into the minority who those who likes the crafting videos
@@aeternvm Happy Holidays! I'm at the point where I really only want speed on speed sets or speed on off-sets that have usable other stats. I have some fast pieces, but because not enough of them are on speed set so the overall speed of my units is capped, if that makes sense.
This is my first equipment video I have ever watched, and I already learned so much. I’m more so of a slow player right now. My faster speed unit is 259 and 249, And I have a few other units that are 220 and under I’m champion in normal arena yet I’m silver in RTA and I feel my Units still don’t perform as well. I’m not sure if it’s my drafting or am I just using the wrong equipment on my Units, but my main question is…which stats should I go for? I don’t have many nukers except A jenua, Celine, Arby, Mort. My openers only consist of New moon Luna(She’s my 249) Ran(my 259) and I do have units to play around those characters. But it still feels like I’m doing something wrong.
I’m sorry for the really long comment, but I really want to get better at this game and climb the ranks. Not become legend or something. But I do think reaching Champion for RTA one day will Make me feel like I made progress in the game.
@@Wadeypooo No worries! I'm glad that the video helped you understand gear and gear quality better! It seems like you have quite a few strong units. What might be holding you back is the quality of your gear. As you continue to farm, you will get upgrades to your current pieces (more attack for DPS, more HP for tanks, more SPD for openers, etc.) and then those old pieces can be passed down to other, lesser used, units. This way, you make your core team stronger while expanding your overall usable roster. When it comes to drafting, that comes with experience. It might benefit you to chat with people about unit builds in my Discord server (link in description)! I also have an Account Overview video showcasing all my units and builds if you haven't seen that already. I hope this helps!
Just now finished watching both of the videos. And come to find out I had much needed equipment I needed to sell and some units who needed a rework. I’ve worked around my mort to just be much more tankier with not much damage but I do have his 10% buff EE, and my Jenua now has an entirely different kit. I’ve also ended up selling over 300 pieces of equipment. Most had no speed and tons of flat stats. I’ve opted for speed, Health, effect res for my newer units I still have yet to build. I like the idea for Shorts craft with events pieces / Arena Maybe still keep the Craft and Chill still, that still give a reasoning of craft in certains conditions
Long crafting videos are great. Edit : Just to add, for me u can cut the part of actually crafting and just keep the part where u roll the gear. I find more entertaining
I mentioned once in an Epic Seven update video that that hunt and crafting needs some qol changes like at least increased mat drops or remove the blue ones and the fans said I'm crying 😂😂 like we literally can't use the characters without the gear guys, this system is unhealthy and time wasting especially bcs not everyone has the gear for rift for like a year or plus. Every free pulls SG gives make me cringe cause thanks, make gearing bearable if you want us to use these characters
Similar thing happened to me when I posted like a year ago about having a free rage gears given to new players instead of those easily replaceable attack set(3sets). People told me I was crying 😂 and now look at where we at now?
@@hlzion I've always told people that getting characters in this game is the easiest part. SmileGate is super generous with free pulls all the time. The real grind is gear and it's a terrible one. I will say, it's much better now than before. Special crafting events, custom gear events, and overall quality of free gear (Arena, AI, etc.) has gone up. When the game first started, they purposefully made gear incredibly hard to get to bottleneck progression. You used to be unable to get accessories as drops. That's why in the labyrinth coin shop there are accessory boxes to gets rings/necks. Crazy stuff, right?
