And surprisingly, Taeyang's RnB sound shook a lot of TH-camrs. Making it one of the most covered songs at that time.

Seen this mv hundreds of times and it still hurts. After the release of this album, Taeyang was undoubtedly the best vocalist in Kpop and gained respect even from senior entertainment figures. I remember [illegally🫣] downloading an English cover together with the original and sang in English lyrics. You cannot imagine how we get (delayed) updates during that time when socmed was not a thing. I got updates from fanpage blogs (vlogs were unheard of 😂). It's interesting to listen to older international Kpop fans on how they try to keep up with their not-so-accepted fangirling/fanboying activities.

They were originally supposed to debut as a hip-hop duo called GDxYB. The name GD for G Dragon because his name is Kwon Ji-Yong. Ji like G and Yong means Dragon. You really should, and if you do, i would recommend not only listen to their party songs but dive a little bit more in their discography and bsides, that is where the real gold is at. The reason I love kpop is because of him,
