You shouldn't need to drop under High on the S7. This game had poor performance after v1.2. However testing today shows whatever the new update did brought the fps back to 60 in stressful areas. You can download Game Plugins from the Galaxy Store and use the Perf Z utility to show the fps on the screen. I'm showing 57 fps and up today with max settings.
hello, if you select all graphic settings to high and you just walk around, do you experience any fps drops? I have also galaxy tab s7 and unfortunately I see serious lag when walking in some areas, especially when I see the faraway sceneries like castle and cities . I measure fps by using Perfz plugin from samsung Game plugin tools.
Thanks for PerfZ tip. I've actually been using it for months on my S6 and S7, but I haven't uploaded gameplay since Oct. Here's a test I did for you: th-cam.com/video/qmhm4exboK4/w-d-xo.html I haven't played after the 1.2 update but I do remember this game ran high 50's on my Tab S7.
Are the games rendered in 1080p resolution on the device? Because as far as I understand, Genshin Impact renders games in 720p resolution across the board on Android devices.
I don't know the max native resolution on this game. The high setting might be in the neighborhood of 720p for vertical, but this game changes the horizontal to match your device's screen. It is also noticeably sharper on iPad.
thanks for making this video, helped me with deciding on my purchase
If the Render set to medium/normal is the Fps still droping ...?

Do you have the 6 or 8 GB tab S7?
I show the specs at 1:04
Hi i need a tab for playing games... I play lot of pubg and COD and genshin impact which is better for me iPad Air 4 or tab s7???
Slightly sharper graphics on the Air 4. Slightly better speakers on the S7. I also get better battery life on the S7 with the graphics cranked up.
iPad air 4 has better specs for gaming, I believe
ipad air does it better on Genshin but s7 is same on everything
im telling u from the s7+ tab
but certainly s7+ has better display and sound
If we use Dex, could we use the keyboard?
Only the ESC key will work. It currently won't recognize it as an input device for controls.
Does the S7 lite count, too?
I didn't know there was such a thing as a S7 Lite.
There isn't, its just the S7 and S7+, the only lite is the Tab S6 Lite
