I enjoy your teaching. You speak very clearly and easy to understand. I sooooo appreciate that you don’t have the irritating habit of “um, um, um” and “ah, ah, ah” constantly. This tile was lovely too.
I love Julie's lessons. I love how Julie says what pen/pencil she will be using before she uses it. The lessons are at a good pace and easy to follow along with.
I love the tangle! AND I love the idea of making something like the ornament or place card holder! What a gorgeous and festive holiday table that will make! Thanks Julie!
Fun! Mine has now become a very fancy gift tag. Thanks Julie!

A lovely and fun Z3 tile! You know, last night I was watching a film called "Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey" and your tile reminds me of the clock pieces (machinery) that are everywhere in the film. Thanks Julie!
I love your videos, Julie! I’m still working on PP10 and also trying to squeeze in this 2020 12 Days of Zentangle so I didn’t realize you weren’t around for 11 since I haven’t done it yet. 😉 Welcome back! I’ll miss you when I get to 11. I really like your teaching style, creative direction, and calming voice and energy, so thank you. Hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season, and hope to see/hear more from you in 2021.
Can you tell me what brand gold gouache is included in our project pack. I would like to be able to replace it once it is used up. I apologize if you have already answered this question and I missed it! Is it something ZH sells or would I get it from an art supplier? Thanks
It is Lascaux acrylic gouache gold #330. I was able to find an 85 ml bottle of it at the DickBlick site for purchase. I love this particular color of gold and how great it looks on the tan Renaissance tiles and just had to buy some more. Hope this helps. Cheers!
@@clotairef Thank you so much Christina. I will probably be making an order with Blick soon so will definitely add this to my order. I really liked the color also! Take care, and happy tangling!
Thank you, Julie! I missed you in PP11! You do have a great teaching style, and I always enjoy your lessons. I particularly appreciated your blog post on tan tiles, and felt reassured. (I am a CZT21, and have never wanted to teach a Renaissance class. This has got to change!!!) Anyhow, I still have a question about these. Is there any particular reason for choosing the brown or black ink on a tan tile? Is it just a color question, or is it more about depth, midground/background? I'm guessing that anything is possible, but thought I'd ask here, since you always answer our questions!!! Thank you!
Hi Jennifer, Julie here :) Personally, there is not particular reason, I just kind of follow my gut and do whatever feels right. When working on Renaissance I think I favor the Brown Micron for the majority of the work and bring in the Black Micron when I am looking for add drama or boldness. I would suggest playing around with the two pens and finding a style that works best for you!

Very nice and different ideas. I may have been more creative with the gold though...
👍😍
