I live nearby, I’m so excited to go this summer, we’ve been waiting for so long for this ride. My boyfriend used to work there, that’s how we met, and I’ve been there so many times every summer in my childhood. It’s great to see them get something so big in the park. Happy for them.
I believe the laterals are a little too harsh for the general public, this new one looks like it smooths out the roll instead of snapping more like a corkscrew
Honestly I love this new layout. It’ll go faster with people and even if it doesn’t, it’ll be a graceful and enjoyable ride. As much as I love Hulk and Dragon Challenge, it’s easy to understand how some don’t like em. Rip Dragon Challenge tho
@@antimcgregor8139 I feel like that might be at the drop or on one element though. It wouldn’t be the smartest to have this be consistently forceful. Look at the Hulk for instance.
I can definitely see some pacing issues but as you said it was the only run of the day and it was cold, hopefully the pacing is much better when running normally

Sine the park is so compact the coaster will go around and over existing attractions and walkways but some of the new buildings will have a NY-feel with inspiration from the meatpacking district. So instead of flying through an African landscape this coaster will be more like flying through a city full of people.
This was one of the first runs ever. Things will break in and it'll be able to run faster. If they were using a 'summer' compound on the wheels that'd contribute to a slower run too.
@@antimcgregor8139 It's very likely they'll still use it during warmer temps. There are components to break in on any new coaster - it will run faster than it did in this video even if they make no other changes.
Don't judge the speed on these first tests runs, the lifthill was running really slow in the beginning. I have shoot more footage and the speed is higher now. Will post more soon.
I have been calling it an JR.Immelman since it only goes partially upside down. If you watched the film on your mobile the "JR" part of the text was so small that you probably did not see it. Many of the elements have different names but I in last two videos I try to use the same naming as the park.

I don't love the new zero-g shape they've been using, but it looks like a fun ride for sure.

Same here! Since it is in the middle of Stockholm it is so easy to drop by a few hours after work.

At least B&M is using the old invert trains tho so maybe we don’t have to worry about the best restraint

What are all those circles on the track spine for??
I'm guessing they filled it with sand using those holes in order to make it quieter.
In that location the traditional B&M roar would be way too loud.
