Protect Tullio at all costs. He is a wealth of knowledge and as equally important he’s a kind, caring and willing to teach human being. I’m lucky enough to get to talk with him, and every time he amazes me with his kindness and humbleness.
i haven't seen another company just nailing it engineering wise. keep up the great work and thanks so much for that deep dive from Tullio, he's amazing.
There's no hot spots because there are no optics. So if this can put out good par with the correct spectrum. Then this will be great like the orphek lights. Minus the hot spots. This is why I love hydro products. These guys get it when it comes to Hobbyist
This is something that’s really exciting. Love my hydros setup but have been feeling like some of the recent new products besides the maven haven’t given me a burst of excitement about. But this is something I can’t wait to try out. So glad to see hydros branching out into lighting.
Got my first Hydros control on 4/2021 and now a little more than 3 years later I have 4 Hydros units and Absolutely no regrets will definitely be looking into the 12” light
I like what's happening here, BRS took some products from coralvue by becoming the sole distributor of products like maxspect and aquaforest then BRS cut the hydros line. I was waiting for them to be bought by brs but it seems like coralvue is holding strong. Keep up the innovation guys. That said, im old and i still like my t5's. They just work and dont need updates every year. I have an AI prime fuge in my stand but its cheaply made. In 3 years ive had to replace the power supply twice
I think with all the animosity towards BRS as of late, and hydros rapid firing well thought out products that people have been holding out for they are in a strategic position to overtake Neptune Systems if they don’t come up with some serious product updates. I just made the switch to hydros after some really poor product quality issues and abysmal customer service by Neptune made me lose faith in them to monitor my next tank. I think Hydros is only a few short years from passing Neptune in being the dominant controller system. Especially without Ryan pushing apex gear on TH-cam. Neptune has been sitting around cashing in on their former glory while Hydros has been silently planning a massive attack in the background. Hydros knows what they are doing and I’m here for the showdown! 😂
This are really exciting news. Can't wait to hear and read more about this new light system you're working on. I think that the moon light feature is a completely awesome feature that brings a new level to the hobby. I wish that it can be possible set with the actual moon faces based on the location you're at, example (full moon cycles through the month and the day it happen on our sky) That can be really cool and obviously based on your light on off schedules. Thanks God I been postponing my lights upgrade ✨ 🙌 🙏 Awesome guy's keep the great news coming. 🤘😎🤘🍻🍻
Sorry to disappoint you, but the XHO will not be available this coming Black Friday. We don't have a confirmed release date yet, but it looks like they will be ready by early next year.
@@CoralVueTV Thanks for the reply. When you do the roll out video, can you please also cover the Reef Brite Hydros LED interface? I have 2 Reef Brite XHO Atinics and 2 other lights leaving me with 2 apps to control lighting. I'd like to bring them all into the Hydros ecosystem once I replace the other lights with the Hydros XHO.
i would expect similar pricing to Radion or whatever Aquatic Sales Solutions (aka Bertram Capital, aka BRS) is offering which people love but don't mind inferior engineering. Hydros product suite is better engineered at every level but at an even better pricepoint. I don't work for them but I love that there's still competition. FWIW ReefBrite is a pretty good price point for premium lighting solution.
As a hobbyist, I have no intention of to spawn corals ever, wish there is a model without the moon light either for cheaper price, or the same price but with more led instead of moonlight
The moonlight is basically a turned down 420nm led. They're all leds and if you're not interested in corals and you keep just fish, you don't need blue light. It could be any light.
I like what CoralVue is doing but your purchasing mechanics and website seems antiquated. Update your site, improve your customer service, make devices that are consistent and you will win. I bought three 3L of x10 reagent and all three are inconsistent. Your IV hydros is a 🍋
15ft is 5 meters, at 5 meters below the surface of the water, nearly all red light is gone (only about 30% of the red light at the surface remains), there's still a pretty decent amount of green and yellow (about 60% of the green remains, about 50% of the yellow remains), but blue and violet (400-475) are the dominant colors (nearly 80-90% of the available blue and violet light at the surface remains)... I don't see how that's "Anything but blue". Our eyes are terrible at picking up blue light as opposed to green and yellow which it's excellent at, so while our eyes do not perceive the blue spectrum at 15 feet because our peak sensitivity "boosts" the available yellow and green light, when measured with scientific instrumentation blue and violet are the dominant spectrum...

Hydros killing it! Coralvue one of the very few companies truly innovating in the hobby.
With the knowledge Tullio brings as far as lighting is concerned this is a great partnership.
Solid work guys. I love you're always pushing the standard and improving the hobby.
Very nice video gentlemen, keep up the great work on these new products, I for one I'm looking forward to this light to succeed.
What in the world!! Ya'll are killing it. Love yalls stuff.
Would love to switch our farm over to these lights! Just switched from Apex to the Hydros system. Can't wait for the Maven to come out.
💯% agreed. 😊

When is projected time frame that these lights will be available for purchase?

Hydros teaming up with tulio is massive news 🔥
I was waiting till the end to see if yall covered spawning coral. Thank you
Way to go gentlemen! 👏🙌👌✌️
When can we see PAR measurements and coverage measurements?

Awesome stuff
What lengths wii the light be offered in at launch?
Will the x2 be able to control this light?
Any thoughts on providing better support for the current generation of Kessil? My preference is for more of a spot source, mounted high off the tank.
We are always willing to work with other companies to have their products interface with HYDROS.

You can do that with an apex controller
@@KentuckyReef Absolutely.... , not likely 😒... It been a lots of hiccups for quite time; and doesn't seem to care. I enjoy those custom features!
Does this light have weather simulation?
Does anybody actually use that??
Please tell me this will be out on Black Friday!

Wonder when available. About to setup my Reefer 500 peninsula with 48" AI Blades in a month or so.
like to know the mounting options....
I haven't had time to watch the whole thing yet, just skimmed through and hit the high points. I must've missed MSRP and release date. Did they say?
No they didn't
We don't officially have the MSRP or release date at this time.

Mam, looks like another light that the general public can't afford. Sucks because I'd love to add this to my system. 😢
