Looks very professional (compared with the mess in many other plastic welding vids). tks for showing. I have a Coastal C1 Skiff of the 80s, skulling rowing boat made of Polyethylen. Got just a longer crack at the bolting position of the seat. I have a heat gun, so I think with such a nosle and some strips it might work out. Are Milkbottles of HDPE O.K. ? And what about a metal mesh to melt into ?
You know of any places where they are fixing cracks in oddball spots? I have one in my seat that I'm trying to learn how to fix before I take a stab at it.

Sand it overall - is a dusk sander etc & boom! Done.
Any information on the welder or tips you could share? Looking at getting one and that looks perfect.
