    OMG NOOOOO! I had no idea this happened. I went to Otres 1 like 8 years ago for two days and ended up spending two weeks. I just couldn't leave. It was so magical! I stayed in a little bamboo hut on the beach at a place called Moms. This is so sad.

    Hi Richy, It's not possible to polish a turd! You're correct some Cambodian Officials have sold the people down the river! The Chinese were to build 60 Hotels/Casinos, mostly employing Chinese construction workers and solely for Chinese guests. In December 2018 I stayed for 2 days at Sahaa Beach Resort on Otres Beach, (which was great) luckily away from the town centre where their were fields full of dumped building materials. I had travelled from Siem Reap to Phnom Pehn and Kampot. I will never return. As if the Cambodian people haven't had enough shit to deal with!
    Best wishes from Bangkok.

    Looks much better to me then what it was before, the first 30 minutes at least which I believe is Otres area. Pretty much paradise looking place in my eye now.
    Before the beach was total shit show with all the resorts relaxin sewage straight to sea and so narrow beach area when all the resorts took all space on beach.
    th-cam.com/video/Ep5i9s_ANm0/w-d-xo.html and the next 10 minutes I'm pretty that point there used to be just empty beach. That was private land/beach owned by was it French guy. Now seems to be public beach which is much better than someone guy keeping itself

      It was vibrant with loads of tourists and an amazing place, if you think displacing people from their lively hoods and making it the empty shell it is today with zero atmosphere and no tourists what so ever is better then your seriously deluded mate. Everyone has their own opinions on paradise I suppose.

    Western people wanted Southeast Asian countries keep poor and undeveloped so that they can come any time to enjoy cheap food, accommodation, ladies, etc.
    Local people want good road, economic development, better life.

    • @ParkinsonRaw
      @ParkinsonRaw  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That might be true for some people but not all. Otres wasn’t that cheap. All of the locals I spoke to are absolutely mortified at what’s happened.
      If you watched the vlog and think that is economic development you’re seriously mistaken. Also generalising all western people to be the same is extremely short minded. I appreciate the comment, everyone has their own opinions.
      As far as the ladies go I haven’t been with one since I’ve been in Asia and nor would I pay to go with one. Please try and stay open minded as I do. I am extremely grateful to the Asian people for allowing me to visit their country and I show that in all of my vlogs.
