Magical day at Heather meadows || Artist Point,Washington USA.

At over 5,000 ft above sea level, artist point is one of the highest paved roads in washington state. These hikes are suggestions for the summer months and early fall, with the exception of artist point as a winter alternative. The hike takes off from the artist point parking lot at an elevation of 5,220 feet.the trail slowly meanders up for a while until reaching the final steep switchbacks where you'll have a sheer cliff to your side-don't let it distract you, and keep focused on the trail in front of you!once you've made it to the summit, you'll be greeted by the sunshine bursting over the surrounding peaks.
