I have 2 friends, also on social security (who bank at the same branch as I do) who received their payments last Monday, the 15th. I don't know what's so different this time - I'm trying to stay calm and grounded, but I feel that we've been toyed with for months now.
They said they hope to have most of them out by the end of this month. We'll see if that happens. All the griping isn't going to change anything so all we can do is wait.

They still have approx. 60 MILLION people to process. Be patient - it will come. Some have reported they finally have a payment date so the IRS IS working on them.
