Watching your clips is like watching one of the lads play, the ups and downs the bad beat kickoffs, the relief when you win a big hand and the pure joy when you win is absolutely amazing mate. I watched Tonka win an insane amount the other day and he didn’t show half the amount of emotion you did, no disrespect to him at all but for me I like a bit of connection to how some of us average joes play and your clips definitely give that, keep up the winning ways and good luck in future games bro. Massive fan Newcastle England.
Title of this video should be “sweat on the turn”. How many sick turn cards gave pocket pairs 4 card flush possibilities but missed every time.
Other option is “short stack always doubles”.
40:00 that guys just checked pre TT BB vs SB. The ICM is insaaane
just sharkscoped him. He is up like 600k! Very very good player!
When playing a good player sometimes you have to do tricky stuff, the fact that you were so surprised someone checks a good hand in the BB when SB calls to disguise their hand, tells me you dont play poker at a high level. Checking there can be more profitable. If you raise you risk the sb just folding pre. Also if you raise and the sb bricks the board you very well are not getting any more value out of him. But checking pre in position for post flop play, you give your opponent an opportunity to hang himself and bluff at it because he may think you dont have a strong hand and can get you to fold, when in fact you have a hand. Make sense?
@@ThereAreTwoGenders I think isolating is the standard play here BB vs SB in a non FT environment, at pretty much any level. It is all about ICM. The guy who is in the BB doesn't want to play a big pot, even if he is IP; the risk is too hight. You don't wanna go busted.
@@alexneagu7149 I can agree it is somewhat pot control but I believe he is trying to be deceptive too. Lex was playing big stack bully so he may have been scared of a large 3 bet, who knows.
Lex, I'm a french guy who see your videos when I can.
I am a novice payer but it's great to see your game and how you play. I learn the poker better with YOU. Tanks for that.
You are my favorite poker player and I am happy for you for this 1st place. Congratulation.
Sorry, my english isn't very good.
I hope see you for a bigger payout the next time.
hey lex in 56:25 you had QK didn't it was better to raise call the shorts and fold to the BB or you was going to call any why
I highly recommend to watch this video, i was there from start to finish and it was one of the most epic streams i'we seen of poker playing, i wont' say too much coz of spoilers but you won't regret it !! Cheers Lex, you justified your pro tag, i became a subscriber on twitch and become even more enthusiastic about your content then usual, fuck you love you less then 3 !!! True fans will know what this means !!
Congrats man, well played i am so happy for you :)
Got one Serious question tho, shouldnt you fold pocket threes at 48:30 to keep the shortstacks in play? Icm wise?
Yes
Once he calls he has the opportunity to bust both and most likely busting one at least. If they loose he can still put pressure on other stacks because even if they have similar stacks between them, they can't be calling due to ICM. The ICM disappears only when you're the shortest stack by far. He would not be interested only if he was 2nd or 3rd in chips, because in that way he would loose the possibility to put pressure on middlish stacks between the real shorties (10bbs) and the 20bbs stacks
43:32 isn't A7o good enough to call after all that previous shoves?
I am not quite sure, it's a good question. I don't think it would be a good call, because Corresao should understand ICM pressure and he will not be shoving like Q10s. He has a very small range. JJ and up, maybe 10's. A7o is too weak of a hand, even a7s would be a questionable call imo. Calling it and losing it would jeopardize Lex's strategy because he would have two relative big stacks behind him. Raising almost any hand out of position can be be very dangerous with those two stacks behind him.
@@Michaatjeh he has been shoving sooo much over Lex's open raises... I think he's shoving 77+ there against Lex's 50% open raising range there, and I think It will be a good shove. Lex is opening soooo wide and corresao can rejam wider because of that, right? And corresao isn't risking that much because only one guy is shorter than him. That's why I think he can't be too tight reaming here against the cheapleader. What are you doing here with 77, 88, 99, A5s, KQs, KJs and even other suited or not, broadways SB vs CO 14bb deep? I think that hands are easy jams ag Lex. (I'm not saying Lex should call, just trying to learn about this spot and corresao's 3bet shoving range there)
@@alexneagu7149 I have thought about it some more and you make some good points. I think it all depends on positioning. I still think ICM plays a big role. I do agree with you that his range could be bigger for shoving it in considering Lex's raising range. I am not sure how much risk I would be willing to take. I either double up or lose a 5 k payjump. I think his range increases versus similar stacks but he should be tighter versus Lex. But that's my opinion. I mean Corresao did call an all in with 72s risking a pay jump. I have no idea how this guy plays. I would play like an absolute nit on that FT versus Lex. I am on mobile and tired so my arguments aren't that eloquent.
@@alexneagu7149 I would shove 9's and above. KQs, and A5s, although the latter is kind of trick. Perhaps eights, I think it would be a gut feeling for. KJo would be a no-go for me probably. To be honest, I play microstakes and biggest win was like 1450 dollars so I have no experience with such ICM pressure.
that was intense watching. Thank you for being entertaining and a calm non annoying poker pro to watch that is super nice to subs. Great play. Great decisions. Insane flips indeed. Last hand was crazy too by that time I was cheering like craz.
It's so refreshing to have an entertaining stream that doesn't have Doug Polk's toxicity. Great run and well deserved!
First time watching your streams. Really enjoyed it. You're so much more humble than when you were younger and you thought you were the next poker wonderkid. Now you're genuinly happy when you win a flip and that's nice to see. Gg and gl
Nice win lex... do you sell % on your tornys?..
It was a great game to watch. Thanks Lex. Always a pleasure.
Been watching for a year now, way to go man... congrats, playing in sunday storm mini million today
Does anybody know what's the yellow marking of a player means? Coresao started red and at the final table Lex changed it to yellow.
He is rating players according to how he thinks they play so it's fluid.
Yellow = bad\easy opponent through to Purple(I think) = good\difficult opponent.

dear poker gods, please ONE time in my life give me this insane run. Thanks! GG Lex :)
So fucking happy for you Lex! Keep on the grind and good things will happen! #truewarrior
Goed to see goed begin van het jaar. Best stream ever.😎
also so nice that you didn't spoiled the win in the title ! gg :)
?
@23:18 - what's he mean "if you have a setup", etc?... does he mean if you're a dog and you end up ahead?
he means having two very playable hands in a position where you can expect people to make moves with crap i.e. Button vs BB, SB vs BB, Cut Off vs Button and each player having AK vs QQ or something of that nature. The chips are Setup to go in
@@lostintheshuffle6527 - thanks, bubba.
Background song 6:56?
you are by far the most sympathic streamer i know, congrats. im sure u win another won in next weeks
The joy on the king river, great to see lex.. hard work paying off
Awesome bro you really deserve this . Love seeing notifications on TH-cam for your content . Can’t play poker anymore it’s too stressful so I get enjoyment out of watching :)
The pressure at the end those guys must have felt LULW
First final table warm up!nice lex!
Happy for you Lex, well deserved, but what do you think about Tonkaaa chopping the Sunday Million and you winning the Sunday Warm up (the same sunday?) on a site that has already cheated the taxes in the past? Knowing your audiences it would be good to make people think they can also achieve the same results...
I really like your commentary skills ontop of your play skills!
Insane FT for all shorties:) Very well played Lex, gg!
48:26 that comment is hilarious because it goes through my mind every time someone shows in BB
what?
what does it mean when lex said he got a massive raid?
Can somebody count the number of f*ck is said on this video ?
It's for science !
VGG Lex !
in the 2nd last hand, when you placed the mouse where the all in button would pop up, waiting for him to shove.....I know that feel. It's go time. I had to fist pump when you faded the club on the river. WP GG sir.
Nice read at 31:20 to get max value.
stellar run very entertaining, I love the play, I will be much more aggressive as the big stack when I get to the final table again in the future.
Really enjoyed the Hikaru Nakamura moment. Do you know him?
I know him. One of the best Speed Chess players in the world.
Unreal run Lex... awesome man!
Well deserved Lex. Great job man 💪
I’ve watched this video 4 times. Love it!
So weird seeing Lex run good, congrats man sick run!
lol first time the title wasnt click bait! nice one bro
Congrats Lex.. a well navigated win..!!
Hey Lex! geweldige prestatie man!
Zelf kan ik wel aardig pokeren, maar zou toch heel graag meer willen leren, en professioneel willen pokeren, heb je misschien tips voor mij, die mij kunnen helpen in het bevorderen van mijn spel?
groetjes!
Nice Cash lex!! Congrats bro;) the hand you catch straight with 73 vs two pair what a donation of the villan!!lol these hand put you in a nice position, nice runned!
8:42 "All the fucking work just to loose one flip"..So true ! gl Lex
So happy for you, congratz mate.
Bravo lex deserved100% .next week I am moving to Amsterdam for a 3 months period just for poker
Very happy for you you was so close many times enjoy the victory!!
well played, that TT AA hand was insane! :P
Great to see you in 1st body. Much love
well done Lex. It was an amazing stream to watch :).
Was waiting for Myrthe..
No Myrthe..
Nice win Lex, toppie!
You a legend, like you from high stakes poker times lex .
First comment ive ever made! GG Lex u r the best Love 2 watch u
Gefeliciteerd ou'e bofkont! Exiting FT, well played.
Insane sweats! GG and congrats bro.
57:15
Someone just likes gamble... 🤐
Well done bro smashed it!
Quick question, how many people were watching the stream at the final table?
I still think the most important hand was the 2 pair vs straight hand... but FINALLY running good. Lets hope it continues!
Very well played, man!
Lexy first big win without a Computer crash? Very happy for you.
You walked in with 35% of the chips in play! Played it decently well.
But yeah... like at a $330 weekly game at my casino... it's common to see average stack being 15bb, with a 'bigstack' being 25-30bb lol. 30 min blinds, so it's not that much of a turbo.
I played a random $55 buyin tourney the other week. 18 runners - 3 paid. With 4 ppl left there was a total of 30bb haha (that was 20 min blind standard pub poker shiet after busting from a larger buyin though haha).
22:46 He tricked Lex for the double up Limped in QQ induced the raise and possibly set up the shove to look like semi good A10 vs QQ two tens lol....
Am i only one seeing lex getting more calm and less raging?
Not sure why lex is so happy abt 35k... Considering he used to play for millions.
@@menamarina8368 he was never playing for millions.
@@menamarina8368 those are millions of chips, not millions of dollars.
@@andrewadami3920 I used to watch him play on high stakes poker. Not sure why he's playing such low tournament buy ins?
@@menamarina8368 you should ask him.
What a great watch that was, very deserved
one of the win i like to see again and again
Congratulazioni Lex😎
Man, that might be the best run of cards I've ever seen, when you vaulted from like 300k to 4 milliion....And I've been playing poker religiously for 20 years...
It's highkights
Don’t you use HUDs?
the setups haha .. so insane .. would like to see lex do this on a non sponsored (team pro) account ..
If you've watched Lex's stream before you'd know he's taken an insane number of terrible bad beats in huge spots. Sometimes it goes the other direction and you just run super pure, it has absolutely nothing to do with him being sponsored. You have to run really well to win a tournament, stuff like this happens to literally every single person that has won a tournament before.
i dont know you man . but sow your videos can say u play great poker man.congrat.sometimes stars suks..😀 who have more chips win always even with bad hands. respect u great player .i really enjoy your videos and ur stily.
How do I raise good 10,2......for 3 and a half more big blinds to call his jam? Getting over 2 to 1....the guy asked if it was chip dumping, hes correct unless u just made the most insanely awefull raise fold with ur stack size there??? Very weird
i never realized what a cool cat lex is.
GG Lex i am so proud and happy!!! Nie it is your year
massive congrats mate you deserve it
So awesome man you deserve it !!
And how come every time i watch a tourny go deep on stars...its always the regs who win the "kj vs kk" type of hands
Holy shit congrats man!! What a sick battle!

Easy final table:)

Sick hands my brother
That was pro play...you hold on to the amaising chip lead and that won you the turnament...smart play indeed
