This song always gets me emotional every time I hear it. Another great song you should check out that gives a similar vibe imo is Kill the Ache by Currents. Its got some harsh vocals but the vocalist is great at enunciation and pronounciation so it won't be difficult to understand what he's singing.

My take on this song is that you can't appreciate true happiness and joy without experiencing pain first. Life's extremes help you find balance. Endure. Pain demands to be felt... but it makes you stronger if you find salvation by pushing through.

In all seriousness you guys should check, out bad omens latest album the death of peace of mind it is so damn good, it has like 3 or 4 "heavy tracks" not really that bad at all these guys are very talented and I love these guys and I am one picky music snob when it comes to rock and metal, and this singers voice just has gotten better and better and the latest album again the death of piece of mind offers so much diversity it catches and offers genuine surprise this guy can literally do it all so it seems so far lol, dabbles in many genres seamlessly on the album and track after track are great,you'll notice the album ends before you know it like easy to just go to the next track lol really that good
