Never heard of the closing ears way of stopping hiccups. If there is no water nearby, I just hold my breath until I can't breath possibly making my esophagus wider.
For me what really works at stopping hiccups is to drink water, then immediately hold your breath while counting to 10 slowly. If it doesn't do it for the first time, repeat.
You can try this for stopping ur hiccups, Inhale slowly, swallow 2 times, then exhale slowly, if it dosnt work drink water instead of swallowing 2 times😅
tbh i understand Met, im scared of Frogs too but prob less than Met and snails are very bad for me, snails and slugs prob same amount as Frogs for Met. Cant even go outside when its raining bc so many snails and slugs coming out
