You're videos are really good and so helpful.. However I had a doubt with the registration memory, I put the rhythm on in the 1st registration and I put it off in the 2nd registration.. However while playing, when I change from the 1st to the 2nd registration, the beat does not go off.. It continues playing.. I'm using pedals to change the registration.. All functions work except this... Do you know how I can put the beat off without manually pressing the button but by using the registration memory? Thankyou!

I assume your "rhythm' is nothing more than style (drums) without accompaniment and your goal to to stop / start style playing while changing the registration memory. In that case I am afraid that you need to manually trigger "stop play" command after bank change cause that Reg banks only stores some "setup" but without changing the state of play/stop style. I will look forward to it maybe I will find some workaround. For now I would use another pedal or external midi device to send stop/play command.

Thank you for your answer! I've had my Ymaha 3-4 years. In the beginning, I tried to use the manual's help to get an overview of registration memory. I didn't get any real control over how it works. So I left it and noted my registrations. But the program is needed. so please don't stop making these. I'm surprised YAMAHA has done this as much as I know. Please Stig E.

Great video. Question. I have a PSR 770. If I have a few voices in my expansion memory copied from a USB stick, I assume I can put them in the regustration bank and then save it in a USB stick. But lets say I erase the expansion memory by installing another set of voices, will the USB istill have my saved voices if I insert it back on the keyboard's registration memory?
No. they won't load because registration memory is only "link" to voice file. If during reg memory load "linked" voice can not be found - it will be replaced by default (grand piano) so you need to pay attention about your non-standard voices

Hello. You can store selected song in registration memory. So as long as song exist on the same location (USB or User space) and you select saving song in Reg Banks - it will be loaded after changing the bank. Soon there will be video about it because someone of you asked also similar questions.

You may be sure only if you use built-in factory voices and styles. It may be difficult if you use custom expansion pack because you remote keyboard need to have the same expansion packs and styles installed as the source one.

During bank load they will be replaced to the default - probably grand piano or you will get the warning message. Honestly I haven't tested it personally but you need to take care about consistency between banks and other data.
I'm Swedish. my English is 60%. However, if you are going to show how it works, preparation is very important. First, show what you've saved in example A. Play some of the music. Then show how to do this. More straightforward how to do it. Minimize the hand-to-hand. Remove everything if and but.

@@AmitPandey-bl4io on User space you have a few MB of space (13 MB if I remember well) . Reg banks are relatively small so no worries hundreds of them also can be stored.

That's really weird. is there anything happen if you press and hold memory and press registration bank number one or any other? does it change color? Maybe you haven't selected any registration Bank try to press registration plus and minus simultaneously and declaring New bank. If nothing of this will help it may be that you have a Button malfunction
@@BBWalkerTV I've tried many ways, such as press and hold memory button for long time, even reset my keyboard to factory setting. But that didn't help. It's weird because other buttons just work fine.

From what kind of keyboard (source) you want to transfer ? Please give a exact model.
It's from a yamaha e403 and it hasn't got usb socket but it does have socket to connect to my laptop

Well. Basically there is no limit. You can create and save as many banks as you want. They are stored as files on USB or Internal memory.

Unlimited. They are stored on USB Drivers as files so you can have thousands of them.
