I feel like doctor weilein is really his brother and Mi Lan has special abilities. Li has a weird obsession with this guy like "oh he walked away as I was trying to light his cigar so now I want to kill him. Oh no he didn't die so he tried to kill me then told me to stay away from him so now I'm just going to stalk him and harass him relentlessly?!" Like what.... whats the reason? I heard this was a book can someone please explain the true reasoning to me? please, send help!
Do you really watch the part one ? Li approached Shen initially by order, because he own a news paper which talk bad about the boss of Li and their constant bullying to obtained what they want. They wanted Shen to stop talking bad of them into his news paper. Do you saw Li repeat his speech into his car in the first part, at the beginning of the party ? His order was to kill Shen, but Li suggested first to try to intimidated him for the case it would be enough to scared him. But Shen already known Li, his boss and reputation, already known what he wanted, and just ignored him. It was like a punch in the pride of Li, so, he got his boss on the phone and told him that the plan A (intimidating) did not work, and he will now stick to the boss plan : Kill Shen. And he was sure that he did. Until Shen came back without any injury visible. So, his boss told him to stalk Shen to find out how he survived, but also to find something enough important to him to have a pressure point. Li think at first that it was Min, and he was right, so Min and Shen plot a fake fight, making Li think that min mean nothing to Shen. But they still harassed Shen and stalked him to find out how he survived his wound. And since Shen told Li that he was a monster, Li now try to forced Shen to show his true nature.
