Loomis to me was a God ... He totally revolutionized my view of painting
I have a few of his books (the latest reprints). They are incredible. The only problem is you will feel really stupid when you see his work. Andrew Loomis was and will always be a legend. Highly recommend his books. All of them.
@Akshat Desai Get the book first, read it carefully. Copy his drawings (don't trace). Andy definitely has his own style.

what edition is this? I am curious to know more about the history of that book..Is better than newer editions?
The book was reprinted in 2011, not sure if it's any different than the original 1956 printing. Either way it's a must have! amzn.to/3f1BfhZ
He is the student of George Bridgeman...in Student League of New York
The problem for me is that this book is full of sketches but very few explanations on how he go there
