    "Even if I attack that pawn, they will defend it. What do I gain?" You expressed my habitual thought process exactly. It's linked, ironically, to a desire to avoid the beginner's tendency to one-move-itis.

    I just can't say enough good things about your chess teaching. The fervor with which you put forward such 'obvious' examples to make sure it is cemented in our head is just great.
    I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. Better yet, the lessons STAY with me because of how you present them. Keep it up, Dr. Can!

    Great lesson once again. Im watching your endgame video's on repeat and try to apply them in my games. I never was big on learning openings, even though it can be anoyying if people know them blind. Its greatly satisfying to win these positions and your opponent thinks they mysteriously lost equal endgames eg Ruy lopez exchange 3 vs 4 pawn situation

    • @Dr.CansClinic

    I must have seen some of the patterns before. Numbers 1 through 6 I instantly got. It was instinctive and with no calculation. I just blunder checked a bit because my coach told me I should. Number 7 I got wrong. I did not have the pattern internalized. Which means I should have calculated better. Number 8, I did not have until you showed me. Internalizing patterns I think is the key to how high level players think. Coach, thanks for the great video.

    • @Dr.CansClinic
      @Dr.CansClinic  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Dan, it is great that 1-6 were automatized! Pattern 7 is about the art of awakening pieces. You can revisit the chapter "Undermining Squares" to internalize it.

    Let's Start ♟
    I recently played a game with ( White pieces ) 2 pawns Left that was a complete dead Lost position still able to make the checkmate pattern. Endgames are very important as sharp tactical battles occur in middle game .. We need to understand the deep calculations of ( Middle Game ) and Master the ( End Games ) ..
    it seems like we about to win a game but left with passive attacking pieces doing nothing .. Q. How to make enemy pieces destroy themselves and while we are attacking and gaining strong positions as game approaches towards End Game ?
    Time Management and Strong positional Moves make huge difference .. Q. How to convert a lost match into Winning match ?
    Also Q. How to get rid of passive Bad pawns burying down our attacking pieces ?
