13:10 Eldlich retains the attack boost under Skill Drain, since its part of the special summoning effect from the hand. Skill Drain doesn't effect Eldlich in anyway whatsoever.
You didn't mention original skill drain tropes like, beast king barbaros or, the Fusiler cannon. That was the main use of skill drain back in the day. Otherwise, excellent video as always
Unga Bunga Beats sounds like a producer for trap artists Also, if you use skill drain in Dinomorphia decks, Ketragina becomes a 4k beater regardless of how many life points you have
4:32 effects activate and resolve in the same place, even in the case of cards that tribute themselves as cost, but the effect of stardust is not negated because it leaves the field. Yu-Gi-Oh!!! Anyway, this card is quite interesting, people will use it even if it has no synergy with their deck. I once beat a floowandereeze player because of their own skill drain. I was playing Machina, and Machina loves to be under skill drain.
I wish it was at 1 so I'd have an excuse to play powersink stone at 3 and skill drain at 1 I play floodgates dark magician and powersinktone results in much more interactive games.

Love playing 2005 UngaBunga YGO in 2023… Love SD in my DeGeneRaider deck, even the new XYZ tributes himself for cost.
fun fact: the name is a reference to how you unlearn shit when you rely on this card to play
Paulie Aronson, first American to win the YCS World Championship! 🇺🇸 2023
Malefic Skill Drain was fucking insane
Skill drain was also reprinted in the new dark world deck.
The feels when your smokin' Italian wife divorces you because you play True Draco.
No mention of Yang Zing?
TeleDAD list is on half a deck full of 1 ofs lmao. Old yugioh was something else.
A truly great card to this very day.
Playing this in Altergeists is just unpopped cherry sweet.

The card that drains the skills. A fairly infuriating card for many archetypes.

Should call it Fun Drain
I want toss format to come back
Fun fact in lab when skill drain is up you can basically search any floodgates
As long as you can get Lady and Lovely off of the field before their effect resolution, yeah you can play under Skill Drain pretty easily.
they should just rename it to skill different
