- Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! This time we take a look at what appears to be the case of Carlee Russell. This person was missing for 48 hours and it turns out it's a complete possibility that this person staged the whole thing based on them searching how to do all this on the Internet. Who in their right mind would fake something as serious as a kidnapping?

I live in Birmingham. The entire city has been talking about how it was fake and I got confirmation from a Hoover cop yesterday. He said bluntly “Oh she faked that shit”
I think one of the worst things about this is how many people are defending her alleged actions... People are totally okay with and even ENCOURAGING the idea of taking resources away from people in real danger and spending them on people who just want attention... Their excuses for it are probably the most brain dead takes I've heard in a while
They would be called racist if they didn't
yeah it's definitely for attention it seems. even calling 911 by accident is taken seriously- if you accidentally call emergency services you ought to wait till the operator connects with you so you can explain the situation because hanging up prematurely could encourage them to dispatch a responder and then you'll be in a deeper hole than before
@@happykiwi I accidentally butt dialed 911 at work, didn’t see it, and had to call back immediately explaining that it was a mistake before the cops showed up for no reason. It’s definitely a crime where I live in California to call 911 without a reason.

The really sad part, the mother of a 19 year old that was actually kidnapped and murdered in the same area came out to help because she knew what it felt like to lose a child.
There are people that use lures to kidnap people. The one I've heard that is really disturbing is trained dogs. They lay in the road to look injured or are limping on the side of the road. You stop to help the animal and bam 3 dudes come out of the side of the road. These things are real and the thought of someone using a toddler to lure someone is completely believable. This actually reminds me off an episode off a Dutch tv program where they try to catch stalkers.
There was one particular that was all over the news after the host, Thijs Zeeman uncovered something that gave the case a huge twist.
A 33 year old woman had claimed she had been getting stalked and harassed by a former psychotic patient who send her death threats and claims that he would hurt her family. He was arrested for that a few years prior but denied any wrongdoing. The episode began like normal, but soon the team began noticing discrepancies in the victim’s story.
Long story short: She had made up the whole thing and had forged all evidence that the man was harassing her. She actually got arrested and faces jailtime.
Furthermore, the man who she claimed stalked her, didn’t even know who she was, but she did go out off her way to devastate him mentally and financially. It made him sad to the point off suicidal.
However, he still had no ill will towards her and hoped she would get help like he once had.

As someone who lives in Alabama, I literally saw this on the news today with my grandparents. The last thing I expected was a video about it from Muta. 😅
You summed up the question: why would she do this? What does she benefit from this, this is not normal human behavior...
She gets attention
The first thing I thought of was mental health. But too much planning went into it.
Then, I thought perhaps she was trying to escape domestic violence... but she went back home.
Maybe it was a cry for help towards her loved ones... or an attention grab towards her SO.
Very strange story.
Well, mental health is rampant in their community. Though may be a combination of all of that considering all of that is also rampant.
Faking a kidnapping means that you don't have good mental health, lol
if my girl did this i would be pissed. unnecessary trauma lmao
Someone needs to sit her down, look her in the eyes, and tell her "Because of what you did, in taking attention away from real cases, an actual kidnapping victim will never be found."
You think that will mean anything at all to someone who is delusional, narcissistic or with antisocial personality disorder? I’d put good odds on at least one of those showing up if someone did a psych profile on her.
Most cases don't get that attention she got. I didn't get media attention when I was kidnapped. To be fair, most cases have leads already. I feel people forget that. Her's had no lead, the police would wanna ask for help more. They needed it more. They thought a woman was kidnapped.

After Sherri Pappini's fake disappearance, I became unfortunately skeptical about cases like this. Good to know my gut was right after no updates on the highway toddler. The timing between her search history and her going "missing" is far too coincidental to be real.

When I fake my own kidnapping, I'm gonna erase my search history but I'm gonna leave a single search "You just got pranked!" Shit'll be epic

Another thing that led me to suggest she staged this was she left her Air pods and Apple Watch in the car. The two things that would be used to track her.
Last thing the traffic cam show no evidence of any kidnapping.
Another weird thing is that Carlee said when she woke up on day 2 of her kidnapping, the female was playing with her hair & feeding her cheese crackers. Carlee bought granola bars & ritz crackers from Target, which weren't found in her car. Wouldn't ritz crackers qualify as cheese crackers? Interesting. Freudian slip??
It's not that I disagree with the main point you're making, but in what world do Ritz qualify as cheese crackers?
TEST THE STOOL
They were Cheez itz. Not ritz.
My initial thoughts were like the several other instances of this happening, where the women got caught out cheating, so they cooked up a kidnapping story to explain their disappearance.
Nah i always get wisdom watching Mutas vids keeps my head on straight 💪🏾
This is why I’m always skeptical about stuff like this because most people are always quick to assume everything and accuse anyone with no evidence to back it up.
I live right near hover like right next to it and I would never imagine something like this let alone someone faking something like this from this area from how “quiet” this area is for a small city
Would love to see the recordings of the interview with the detectives!
I love the priceless opening, & thank you for finishing the story I was wondering how😂
In my opinion, i think she was trying to disappear, run away from her family or something. Since she was looking at one way tickets, Amber Alerts, she might have been curious to know how much attention will garner if she vanishes. So she looked into it, she then realised how much attention built and gave in and went back.

The whole thing about race, there was a phenomenon when I was growing up called "missing white woman syndrome" where if a white woman goes missing it's all over the news all over the place. I know it's worse for Native women on reserves. Sorry for the essay !Again, love your commentary!
I'm not Black but I'm from a diff group that tends to get crimes against us ignored (transmasc)... it sucks whenever people lie about serious crimes like kidnapping, abuse, SA etc because it gives people reason to disbelieve when it happens for real. I was on this woman's side when we didn't have all the info and people were just playing armchair detective and accusing her with little evidence, but now it's just sad that this is going to be fuel to disbelieve other BIPoC who are crime victims. Hope she gets the help she needs tho
Sorry about your family members.
