    The Germans had something similar. A guy in Salt Lake City Utah had one rusting in his outdoors collection. He passed away and it all disappeared. The family sold everything.

    First time seeing this,where is this gold mine? Is anything for sale? What about 4 door Wagoneer for good price? Had a SJ Cherokee and still miss "Snowfoot", nothing better in snow without tracks, better than some with.

    Why did a command car need three axles? Were the intended to be tractors?

      The 3 axle versions were used for artillery to haul gun and crew or heavy support (fdc/comms/ medical etc) that needed trailer capabilities with crew

      Half track is too slow,too heavy and too maintenance intensive vs wheeled
