    I put 3 layers of home made booster, 6 hours each layer to make the rubber heavily domed then stick it to blade. Then press the blade between 2 books with a 25litre water tank ontop of the book over ~8hour 😂

    Thank you for your tutrial. It 's usefull,because I just bought one, Ma Long version. I followed your tutorial at other video for boosting the rubber. This is my first time using Chinesse rubber. I was supprised that it needs the booster before using. So your tutorials helped me a lot.
    I put the rubber onto Harimoto blade. And no issue..
    Thank you.

    1 mistake that many ppl make is waiting for the rubber to reverse dome to nearly flat before stick it to blade. The boosted effect will be nearly went off if you do that, plus you waste a lot of time waiting 😂

      Letting the rubber flatten down doesn’t mean the effect is gone as the sponge is still expanded. The effect will still be there abs last at least a few weeks

    you leave plastic sheet on rubber until rubber is one the blade. I see some remove the plastic protector sheet before boosting. I wonder why?

    • @ttpassion
      @ttpassion 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Thanks for the comment and question. Removing plastic sheet before boosting allow the rubber to curl more freely. But for my own preference I like to leave it on until I complete the glueing to my blade because I dont wanna risk damaging the rubber accidentally with the booster oil or glue.

    Hi, do you believe just one layer of glue on the Hurricane is enough? How good is DHS #15 on gluing boosted rubbers? I once tried to glue a boosted Hurricane 3 Provincial Blue Sponge with Tibhar Clean Fix, I used four layers on the sponge, put under heavy books for one night and the next day the edges came off easily...

    • @ttpassion
      @ttpassion 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for sharing your experience. The DHS 15 seems good for gluing the boosted Hurricane 3 with just one layer of glue. I haven't faced any issue of the rubber peeling off from the edge. Same for the setup in this video. However, for my stiga cybershape as I had seal it with lacquer, I do experience the rubber not being able to glue firmly near the edges so I had to apply 2 layers of glue on the blade itself.

      it depends on the amout of glue you brought
      since the 98ml is a lot thicker than the 500ml, so it usually only takes 2-3 glue layers, but with the 500ml dhs glue, i usually use 4 layers in total

    Never lay the whole blade with handle on a plane surface and the apply pressure. Always leave the handle hanging out and the blade surface totally flat. So you avoid damaging your bat.

  • @Equaaz
    @Equaaz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It is clearly much too expensive in proportion to your level. In 4 months you have presented more than 2000€ of products... but, it's your money. I hope at least that you were able to define your favorite material and that you are able to advise us on which one to choose according to our style of play? Viscaria / HL5... the big dilemma 😁
    Moreover the Golden version, Nationals version, etc... are not necessary for 99% of the players. The pros get paid to play, we don't. 😅

      Hi Equaaz, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Great suggestion on adding my recommendation on which blade to choose based on individual style of play. I'd include that in my future reviews of blades.
      Anyway, I'm just happy to collect these equipment and try them out while sharing my experiences with everyone and hopefully that benefits some one who is also planning to get the same equipment.
      I agree that some of the equipment I share will be suitable for most players due to it's pricing, but I'm certain it does provide valuable information to some who are deciding whether to spend or not to spend on an expensive blade.
      Take care. Cheers!
