Kiinalainen sävelmä, jouhikko ja Hare Krishna-mantra - Karelian bowed lyre, Chinese tune and mantra

Vuoden vaihteessa rupeaa helposti nostalgiseksi, kun muistelee kulunutta aikaa ja suunnittelee tulevaa. Se on ihan hyvä välillä näin seisahtua ja kuunnella. Mitä haluan säilyttää, mitä haluan muuttaa?
Olen ihastunut tämän kiinalaisen sävelmän haikeuteen ja sinnikkyyteen, siitä nousee mieleen vipralambha-bhava, erontuskan sulomaku.
"En tiedä ketään muuta Herraa kuin Kṛṣṇan, ja Hän on oleva Herrani, vaikka
Hän kohtelisikin minua karkeasti syleilyssään, tai särkisi sydämeni ollen poissa
näköpiiristäni. Hän on täysin vapaa tekemään aivan mitä tahansa, sillä Hän on aina palvonnan arvoinen Herrani, ehdoitta." (Sri Siksastakam, säe 8)
Ja pahoittelut korville, kun bordunakieli valuu koko ajan alemmas vireessään. Samoin toivon että omassa elämässä painotus voisi siirtyä työnteosta luovemmille vesille.

Now that the year is about to change, it brings up memories and makes us retrospective and contemplative of the future. I feel it is good time to stop and listen. What do I wish to preserve, and what do I want to change?
I love the wistful and persistent mood of this melody, it reminds me of vipralambha-bhava, the spiritual mellow of separation.
“I know no one but Krishna as my Lord, and He shall remain so even if He handles me roughly by His embrace or makes me broken-hearted by not being present before me. He is completely free to do anything and everything, for He is always my worshipful Lord, unconditionally.” (Sri Siksatakam, verse eight)
And lastly apologies for the false notes and lowering borduna-string. Likewise I can also feel my own focus shifting from too much working towards more time for creativity, joy and goodness.
