My MOST favorite Christmas tradition is we go to my grandmas house every Christmas Eve. She is 85 years old and will be hosting it this year as always. I have been there every year for 46 years including the year I was in mom’s belly! I can not imagine the time when that will no longer happen. I am so fortunate and blessed to have both my mom and grandma. My second is making the buckeyes. They are a HUGE hit and I just love that my family loves them so much. Love your videos ladies!!!
My favorite tradition is decorating the tree with my son. He's eighteen now but he still will have an opinion on it and want to be involved with planning and decorating. Over the years we have made Christms tree decorations and those are still some of my most favorite ones. I love how ya'll make it so festive and homey. Priscilla, your finishes are just beautiful! Thank you for continuing to inspire me to think even more out of the box. :)
my favorite tradition is having the family here.....eating holiday cooking......baking cookies and giving out trays of them to family and friends......lovely video and stitching ladies!
My favorite tradition is having my adult children come over Christmas morning to have breakfast, open presents and spend the day visiting and playing games. Another great video today ladies! Can't wait to see the winter chalk Priscilla!
My favorite Christmas tradition is going for a drive on Christmas Eve to see all the beautiful lights. Love decorating; baking; the music; just love it all!
Love your answer to the request to see the back of your stitching: "I don't have time for that". I laughed out loud because I'm with you on that! My favorite Christmas tradition is doing a little paying it forward for someone in need. Sometimes we shop for kids in Georgia's foster system, and last year we helped a family who needed a little boost. Of course I also love the decorating, eating, and spending time with family and friends. Enjoy your videos so much. Thanks for your inspiration!
So many Christmas traditions that I love but I always love is keeping gifts secret. It's hard to do once the kids get older and have lists of whatever is an absolute must for them that year. They would check each package and be sure they got what they requested so I had to get sneaky. One year I put no tags on the kids gifts and on Christmas morning told one their gifts were wrapped in red, the other green. Another year I reversed the tags on gifts so they had been checking out each other's gifts all along. Another time I put everyday things in boxes to wrap and Christmas morning after there were lots of puzzled faces I went and brought the real gifts out. It got harder once they caught on but it made Christmas more fun because it made it more fun and kept the magic of wondering just a few years longer. I've been watching your decorating Priscilla, and wow...just wow! Beautiful. Happy stitching! 🎅🏼🤶🏼🦌❄️☃️💕💞
Chelsea your stitching is really coming along. I am impressed by how much you have accomplished in such a short time. Of course Priscilla's finishes are just awesome, I love the little dresses you made for the gingerbread dolls. Thanks for sharing.
My favorite Christmas tradition is seeing the Christmas lights in the neighborhood as a kid. My dad would drive us around in all the neighborhoods that had amazing lights. My husband and I continued the tradition with our two boys. I sure miss them being little. Beautiful Christmas stitching ladies!
One of my many favorite Christmas traditions is going to my brother's house on Christmas Eve to celebrate my Mom's birthday. We all go for dinner and this year my Mom will be 89 years old. It's always fun and for the past few years there are more and more great grandchildren to sing and to help my Mom blow out the candles (not that she needs help). I am blessed each year that we are able to continue this tradition.
Another great one! One of my favorite traditions is that I make an ornament each year with my grandkids name and date on them. That way when the are out on their own on day, they will have a tree full of ornaments that I made for them. They are not all cross stitch ones-lots of different kinds. I make 6 grandkids ones each year and one for each of the three families.
My favorite christmas tradition is choose the tree (they are so many different trees where we buy are tree) and decorating the tree. To see all the beautiful christmas ornaments. Happy stitching!
My favorite Christmas tradition is putting up the tree with my husband. The rest of the season is so busy, and it is a night for just the two of us! Great video as always!
Love the shirts! Enjoyed hearing you chicken stories too. At one time so had Rhode Island Reds...for the brown eggs. I loved letting them out to scratch around and the girls would follow me when I was gardening. It's my hope to move and have chickens again sometime. I would be an egg snob too Chelsea!
I️ love that we each opened one present before midnight mass. We could choose any one of them. (Santa’s gifts were not there yet). Thanks for the fun video ladies! Chelsea the matchie shirts are Awesome! Bling and all! 😂🤣😊💕
My favorite Christmas tradition is one they do on Days of Our Lives. The entire family, all generations, each have an ornament with their name on it. They all get together and each hangs their own ornaments or ornaments from family members who have past. It is just so heartwarming.
My favorite Christmas tradition is driving around to check out all the holiday light displays and then coming home to a Christmas movie and a hot cup of cider.
We have lots of traditions and I love them all! Going to church on Christmas Eve and having the family and extended family over for dinner afterward...old fashioneds, good food, opening gifts, and playing games!
My favorite Christmas tradition is going to see the southern lights at the Kentucky Horse Park every year! It’s about three miles through the horse park (horses and barns along the rode) of nothing but Christmas light displays!
My favrioute Christmas tradition is decorating the house and seeing all the light. It's just a great season. Love your videos. Thank you so much. Happy thanksgiving, Claudia
My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating my Christmas tree. 2 years ago when I moved to college I got my first tree ever. We've always lived in a small house with no basement or attic and don't have storage space so that was always my mom's excuse for not decorating. So when I got my own place I was determined to decorate for the holidays. We do have a fake pre-lit Christmas tree now that my uncle got us and I love it. So now I get to decorate it! I've been making a lot of cross stitch ornaments this year for my tree and for gifts. Cause' my other favorite tradition is giving gifts! I'd rather give then receive and I really love to put a lot thought into my gifts. I mean I sneakily ask people questions about things that they like so I can get ideas without them realizing I'm storing gift ideas in my head :P Nothing is more special than a gift that comes from the heart
My favorite Christmas tradition is making ornaments. My grandma made me an ornament every year. This year I've made ornaments for family. Love the matching shirts!
I would love to see the snow....it's 80 degrees here today! Good job on the shirts Chelsea, they sparkle just like y'all. It just couldn't be Christmas until the cookies were made and decorated as a family. I'm so happy to say my 3 daughters have continued the tradition!!
My favorite new Christmas tradition is going and looking at this Gingerbread house competition display in my town, it's amazing to see what creations people can come up with and just the smell of gingerbread get you in the mood to go and bake and get started with Christmas!
Our favorite family tradition growing up in Columbus Ohio was to go downtown and see the animated windows at the Lazarus Store, drive around and see some decorated homes after Christmas Eve service at church
My favorite Christmas tradition was lining up for my grandfather who hands us little stockings with our Christmas present. Today it’s going over the Hallmark ornament catalog checking which ones we’re getting for the year. Thanks and happy Thanksgiving!
One of my favorite traditions is when we cook the turkey giblets I bring out the hand meat grinder that my grandmother had. Every one of my children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren have had a turn cranking the handle. On the sweet side are the cookies recipes that were my grandmothers.
Love your modpodge of the barn! Always love your finishes! My favorite Christmas tradition is Christmas Eve appetizers, games and jigsaw puzzles with family.
My favorite Christmas tradition is actually on Christmas Eve. Every year after our huge Christmas Eve meal, my parents would give us our first gift--Christmas pajamas, an ornament, and a small toy/craft to keep us busy till bedtime. I'm continuing the tradition in my family. My second daughter was born this June, so I already got both girls matching footie Christmas pajamas, and I've stitched them both an ornament (and an planning on one more for each of them). There's something special about that new warm pair of pjs....And much like on my own tree on which I hang my childhood ornaments, I hope both of my girls will treasure and hang the ornaments i make them on their own family Christmas trees someday.
My favorite Christmas Tradition is making Cinnamon Rolls Christmas Eve for Christmas Morning... I really love seeing everyone appreciate the hard work...I just enjoy you two so much. Thanks for all the showing of your finishes it is really inspirational
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting together for the holiday with all my siblings and our extended families - good food & lots of laughter! Like the matching tops, good job Chelsea. I follow your blog Priscilla and saw the hutch you acquired, very, very nice and your holiday decorating is phenomenal.
Those shirts are adorable!!! My favorite tradition is somewhat new - I love to make simple Christmas ornaments with my sweet little grandson. He has a tree in his bedroom and likes to hang them on his very own tree. Love Christmas time and all things Christmas related!
Love your new hutch Priscilla! Traditions for Christmas? Christmas Eve appetizers and poppy seed coffee cake for Christmas morning. Love Christmas and enjoy seeing your decorations posted on Facebook every day. You and Chelsea inspire me! I even made 2 Christmas quilts for my 2 little grandsons because of you!
Thanks for another wonderful video ladies! My favorite Christmas tradition was loading up the kids and driving around to see the lights and coming back home to watch Christmas movies before bed. I'm a single mom now and the kids and i still continue our tradition. Happy Thanksgiving to you ladies and your families!
I love you two❣ Chelsea's nursery vid popped up on my list today and I so enjoyed. But the music and pics made me cry. I'm so emotional these days. But I am so happy Olivia recommended you two because I am hooked, with cross stitch needle in hand and magnets & washers on my shopping list!! 💕
Love the matching shirts, fabulous.Wonderful wreath and crosstitched chalkboard design. We love going around the streets on the 24th that are all dressed up for Christmas. Lots and lots of people and good cheer. Come home to some festive food and drinks. Christmas day getting up early for the presents and preparing yummy food for Christmas dinner.
I have always given my kids a wrapped ornament every Christmas eve to open and then hang on the tree. As the years went by it was sweet to see them hang them all and hear them say, oh I remember this! I was into baseball or skating, or whatever memory it would bring to mind for them. After they settled into their own homes I wrapped the ornaments in layers of tissue paper and that was their Christmas eve gift that year. Now I try to do the same for my grand kids, but they also get a Christmas movie, pjs, slipper socks, popcorn and hot chocolate mix with a bag of mini marshmallows, plus a candy cane for stirring LOL.
We love watching Christmas carols on tv on Christmas Eve and having a little picnic together. On Christmas morning we sit around our Christmas tree opening presents while Christmas carols play in the background. I also make rocky road every year for my family and friends. I hope you both have a lovely Thanksgiving xx
Hi ladies 👋 definitely feeling enabled to start the “most wonderful time of the year” piece. It is so cute! My favorite tradition is when i get to pull out my Christmas boxes and start decorating and when we get our tree and putting the ornaments on 🎄
First thing, I love your videos so much. I have spent the last couple weeks binge watching all your videos. 😊 my favourite Christmas tradition is also Christmas Eve. We go to the Christmas Eve service and then come home for hors d’oeuvres. When we were kids we used open our stockings on Christmas Eve, but now that all 5 of us kids our grown up, married and such, we don’t do stockings anymore.
Can't wait to see the winter chalk piece! My one of my favorite traditions is baking Lebkuchen (a gingerbread type cookie) for my family. My grandma used to make it for her children at Christmas (all 16 of them!) and of all those kids and grandkids, I'm one of the only ones that bake it with her recipe. Now I've converted my in-laws to loving it too and requesting it all year!
Me and my stitching friends have an ornament exchange which has become a kind of tradition as we have done it over the last few years. We get together and exchange a chart, chocolate and hand made stitched ornament to each other. This year it will be different as two of them are not coming to the meet up but we are still exchanging. There are 5 of us altogether so we each make four ornies. It's a lot of fun and feels like Christmas has come early.
My favorite Christmas tradition is baking dozens and dozens of cookies and then making cookie trays for gifts. Love your videos. Happy Holidays to you both and your families.
You would love the island of Kaua'i! During the last big hurricane all of the chickens escaped and since then no one has been able to catch them, so they wander all over the whole island!
My favorite Christmas tradition is there is one special gift from 'Santa' after all the gifts from family and friends are opened. After we come back in the evening from family dinner, the gift has magically appeared under the tree or a hint of where it can be found. I started this with out son. He turns 31 tomorrow and it has continued to this day.
My favorite tradition is my family gathering on Christmas Day. When I was little we used to go to my grandma's house every Christmas Day and I loved it. I hope my 4 grandkids feel the same way. Love all your stitching and your new hutch is fabulous! Happy Thanksgiving
Love your shirts and just everything about your videos. Just so enjoyable. My favorite Christmas tradition is having my entire family together on Christmas Eve. We share gifts and eat all our favorite foods. Much love and joy that is for sure
Love the shirts! Happy Thanksgiving! My favorite Christmas tradition is getting the whole family together to visit a tree farm, cut the perfect tree, visit with Santa and top it off with a cup of hot cocoa.
Love the shirts! Favorite Christmas traditions: big family dinner on Christmas eve followed by games such as white elephant exchange and then everyone re-enacting the nativity followed by singing of carols. Baking and hand dipping chocolates and attending a live Nativity put on every year, including sheep and donkey (no camels though).
Great project and beautiful finishes ladies . My favorite tradition is watching Christmas movies and decorating for Christmas. Hope you have a Great Christmas
My favourite Christmas tradition is going Christmas craft fairing with my Grandma. We have been going together for years, and now that she is in her late 80s, it gets harder to go, but we got to go this year which made us both very happy! We also make homemade Christmas crackers for Christmas dinner, and it is lots of fun :)
Another great video. Favorite Christmas tradition is on Christmas eve having a big dinner and then opening gifts. Christmas day was Santa Claus and taking it easy.
My favourite Christmas tradition is decorating the tree with my mom and putting out my many nativity sets while listening to the Michael Bublé Christmas album! Also, watching A Christmas Story every year on Christmas with my family :)
Great video ladies! I love the wreath finishing, it’s absolutely beautiful. I love baking so my favourite Christmas tradition is making my own (sweet) mince pies from scratch. The first time opening the mincemeat when it’s been sitting for months is amazing. The smell of the brandy and all the spices just makes my Christmas. 😍
Great video (of course!)!! Beautiful projects and such creative finishing! My favorite Christmas tradition was always baking Christmas cookies every year with my girls when they lived at home.
In Durham, Connecticut, chickens roam freely in people's front yards on the main street. (Chelsea would love it!) Of course, Durham center itself is not much more than a wide spot in the road! Love you ladies!
Hi ladies! Thank you for another great video! My favorite christmas tradition is setting up my one Christmas tree. I've always gotten so much pleasure from putting on the lights and the ornaments. I just love that! Thanks again!

My favorite Christmas tradition is watching an old black and white movie, Christmas in Connecticut, starring Barbara Stanwyck. So good! And my Lantern Lane pattern came in the mail this week. Yeah!! 🎅
One of our favorite Christmas traditions is all the kids in the family open up Christmas pajamas Christmas Eve. :) I always enjoy your videos and hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Your videos are my motivation AND my nemesis! Your shirts are the perfect addition - be careful - people will want to be buying them soon! Our favorite traditions are making Gingerbread houses together (it's a full candy-on evening) and we complete the night with Christmas lights. Groups of neighbors all meet up as we are walking down to the end of the block where there is a neighborhood Christmas Lane!
Another fun video from you ladies. It's great to see the bond you two have with each other. My husband and I watch "Charlie Brown Christmas," It's a Wonderful Life" and "Miracle on 34th Street" every year. My daughter started a new tradition in the last few years and that is that we eat BLT sandwiches for Christmas Eve dinner, then on Christmas Day we go all out with the food with all the family.
Thoroughly enjoyed your video! I look forward to seeing you each week. You've encouraged me to become a more "casual" stitcher and I love it! Christmas is at my son's house for dinner and gifts! Four boys make it fun!
Hi Priscilla & Chelsea! Love your matching shirts! Winter Stitchalong tradition question: One of my favorite Christmas traditions is making: a count down to Christmas, paper chain with my kids. They rip a link off the chain... every morning, until Christmas. Thanks for your wonderful videos, I look forward to them every week!
Love watching you two. Thanks for another fun video. My favorite Christmas tradition was hanging the stockings on the bookcase. I would stitch the name of each family member, adding new ones every year. So now, with relationships broken, family members gone, my Christmas mantel is a memorial to all that are no longer with us. Sounds sad, but it's not. It's memories.
So many traditions, Christmas Eve service, Christmas Eve snacking, watching all the old Christmas movies are just a few of my favorites.

Over the years we have made Christms tree decorations and those are still some of my most favorite ones. I love how ya'll make it so festive and homey. Priscilla, your finishes are just beautiful! Of course I also love the decorating, eating, and spending time with family and friends. Enjoy your videos so much. Thanks for your inspiration!

My favorite Christmas tradition is setting up tree, we put on music and lit fresh balsam candles.
Putting up the tree and village, is my favorite Christmas tradition. Also watching Polar Express with grandkids.
My favorite tradition is playing "The Dirty Santa Game" with my family! Love you guys videos!!
I have several Christmas traditions, but one of my favorites are worsterbrochies, a Dutch food dish that we ate every Christmas Eve.
I love all the patterns that you are both working on, & I love your finishes!
Favorite Christmas Tradition: Going out to a Christmas Tree farm and chopping down our own tree! It's so fun to go walk around in the snow and pick a tree for our house!
Enjoyed watching your video! My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the house, baking Christmas treats and spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family! Looking forward to your next video!
My favorite Christmas tradition is watching an old black and white movie, Christmas in Connecticut, starring Barbara Stanwyck. So good! And my Lantern Lane pattern came in the mail this week. Yeah!! 🎅
Another great video!! Fav Christmas tradition is going to church really late and sitting up talking after.
My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies. Love your videos.
My favorite Christmas tradition is baking cookies with my mom. I love your green hutch! Enjoyed. Have a great week.
My favorite Christmas tradition was Santa's visit to my grandparents on Christmas eve.
Tradition, Watching It’s a wonderful Life! Thanks for making the videos.
