The narrator's voice couldn't be more perfect for this house! I love the sultry southern quality of her voice. Great job! Beautiful house! I'm sure it's sold by now. Blessings to the new owners and I pray they take good care of this grand old Girl!
I know what you mean.. her voice reminds me of the narrator’s voice from the food network series “Great Chefs of New Orleans” Makes me hungry just thinking about it!
Such an exceptional home for very special owners, Present owners have worked hard to bring it back to the original look and hope the next owner do respect all this work,
Yes it is.. I re-discovered it physically back in the mid 2000’s when I got lost looking for a Thai restaurant near downtown.. I saw that it was being restored by Home Depot and Ronald McDonald House and the historical marker on it read that the house and the land across the street (which is a children’s park) was donated to the city and named after my Great Great Grandfather John Fletcher Pipkin who was an early founder of Beaumont and was the first circuit riding Methodist Minister.. he was responsible for the construction of the First Methodist Church of Beaumont… riding from there to near Austin and back he provided services to all faiths and denominations… believing everyone was the same in the eyes of the lord.. His daughter accompanied him once on a journey and while in Lockhart met and married a Wells who was also a Methodist minister.. later they moved to the country and establish a new church and town, which he named Seawillow after his new bride Seawillow Pipkin Wells
@@coeboykoi Josh, thank you for sharing this beautiful story! That is so nice to think how you have coe fro a long loone of Methoddist ministrs and they I do knwo wer not so hooked on certan denominations over others. We are all one, if we have our faith in the 'Trnity.' It is not sso iimportant in the name.
Hi Jessica I’m glad you purchased this home.. I have kept current on this home for many many years and visit it every time I get a chance… I have strong connections to it because it was once the home of my Great Great Grandfather Methodist minister John Fletcher Pipkin and for other spiritual reasons that I would feel more comfortable sharing privately with you…the last time I visited the house I was pleasantly surprised with the news that someone had purchased the home.. I spoke to a woman there and she said her sister had bought the home.. I’m guessing that would be you! I had messaged with Mr. Al Brisco (whom I believe is a jazz musician) and his wife about the home a while back but I wasn’t really comfortable relating my story about the house to them because of it’s nature but I believe after briefly looking through your linked videos that you may be very receptive to it…I also saw some comments also about you having some losses recently in your life and I extend my deepest condolences… If you are interested in hearing the rest of my story I would like for you to hear it because it’s one that has been with me since I was a very young child and has had an affect on my life ever since… I believe I have knowledge of some special architectural features of the house that nobody else does… my email address is Cowboykoi@aol.com message me for my number then we can talk or text…Sincerely, Josh
When you lived there did you discover anything architectural about the house or anything out of the ordinary? Did you ever go past the second floor up to the witches Turret?
I think the kitchen is the happiest room in the house I think it once had a dumb waiter next to the sink that would carry meals to the second floor bedrooms so the servants wouldn’t have to carry food and dishes up and down the stairs
moving wall street to beaumont texas can revive america, and make it america again. on what petrol is concern, exxon mobil will approve, as texas is an oil producer.
simply breathtaking!
It certainly can be!

They could not build a home like that it would cost millions an probably couldn't find the craftsman to do it either. What a beautiful home
when we lived there many years ago, the "cool" room is where my 9 cats played and had their potties. LOL sure has changed since 1981-82

My oldest brother and us helped remodeled it in 2005 right before Katrina and Rita.
While remodeling the home did ya’ll find any interesting features about it?
Wowww I want that kitchen ahhhhh amazzzzing!
