Too many people are caving and spending. The prisoner’s dilemma is a perfect analogy I am positive the coin strike would work, if people would actually strike
historic subs only have 5 continents. i won't be going after one until it's split into 6. the competition in c5 historic subs is far steeper than any other
I knew that it would be like that. The people who are addicted to spending are going to spend and the others are going to strike. Try getting a drug addict to strike so his drug dealer will give him a better price or product. He might get someone else to go for him (anonymous) but he is going to buy. At least he has an option to buy from someone else. 🤷🏽♂️
My comment is simple: Evony does not care about low coiners and f2p players. Life will be always miserable for us. :,) Evony also does not care about big coiners, because they are too addicted to stop spending!
By reading these comments, you can really tell how out of touch some players are about the strike, people were striking LONG before the big teams got involved but they all refused to participate because they weren't being targeted by evony, now they are its apparently a big thing to get involved with. The coin strike won't work because those who represent "the community" represent their teams only, we wouldn't have k40, k45, buffs behind paywalls etc if they hadn't begged for more , once upon a time this game was reasonably balanced until they wanted more content.
The coinstrike start when evony ban player acc, I not understand what wrong with the development, people spend money on game and they should be happy with it... Then why so stupid want to ban player acc
The coin strike was always going to fail because it was aimed to benefit the big players by allowing them to bend the rules. It didn't take into account the needs of smaller players, there was no attempt to level the playing field. I'm on continent 1, the big 2 went on strike, we told our players to spend as they liked. We aren't huge coiners, but thenaims of the strike have no benefit to us.
With all due respect, I feel like this video misses the mark. I disagree with your math-that looks like easily a 30% decline in coining. But even assuming you’re right, your basic premise is that the coin strike isn’t working because revenue didn’t drop to zero. In many companies, a 10-20% drop in revenue gets you fired, especially when the asks are effectively zero cost to Evony. The strikers have their attention for sure. Just remains to be seen whether people can hold strong.
Top games has only 30-40 people working for it. Most of them are partners actually and only couple of server handlers. If you fire one of them it'll be over for top games😂
@@deejay9938 That actually supports my point. This is a game that brought in hundreds of millions of dollars last year. Even a 10% drop in revenue is probably easily $20m on an annual basis. Server costs have gotten incredibly cheap nowadays and even hiring 100 more CS reps wouldn’t cost more than a million dollars a year. Right now, they’re probably just betting that people will eventually cave, but longer-term the math really doesn’t work out for them.
C6 would be STUPID to join the coin strike. They are already behind the power curve. Then, there are the newer servers 1650+. Holding back on spending for 2+ weeks could see them overtaken by their neighbors and also get crushed in SvS. C6 has no choice but to keep growing. Not helped by having Neo Nadir C amongst them! Not going to catch up with him, for sure. But, can't stand idly by, too. Evony messed up by introducing the so-so general Tachibana. If they pumped up her stats much more, we'll see a scramble to get her.
We expect our team (TGT) to win C6 Chalons and we are not coining. Neo has moved to C5 along with most previous Chalon-competing teams. Coining isn't worth the short term gain. Lots of us have been playing for a while, and something has to change... as for SVS, not coining for a couple of weeks won't see us getting crushed - we already punch well above our weight, no one is concerned about that. Hopefully the rest of the C6 teams feel similar :)
No…. C6 is STUPID for coining at all…. EVERYONE is STUPID for coining and supporting this corrupt and fraudulent company. All for some pixels that will disappear with the flip of a switch… Wake up.

@@jacklacoste9026 this is exactly why I didn’t promote the coin strike on 339. I wasn’t against it but since it didn’t help low coiners and only seemed to target continuing to widen the gap for the big spenders, I saw no value in asking our alliance to participate.

Evony dropped the auto boss feature on my server the day the coin strike started. Needless to say the coin strike was all to soon forgotten.

Ya that’s brutal. Should be a coinstrike issue

They don’t care about anyone

I got over 150k valor medals from svs and battlefield. I have drastically cut back my spending
if anyone has connections with C6 they should talk to them and try to get them on board
Coin strike what coun strike , on my server more was spent then usual, at least according to the sub city event.
My server big coiners aren't going to coin strike.
How did people get notified about the coin strike?
I never heard about it until one of your videos mentioned it.
I found out about it after the fact.
word of mouth i guess
I deeply hope the coin strike fails. Cheaters are angry because #Evony decided to ban them.
so far you should be happy, but as i said its going to have to be a long strike..

Alright, maybe evony get enough of money 😅

Naaaaw its going good evony lost tons of money
Take 200k valor off some scores for svs and server boss

I have no premise at all. Just pointing out the estimated drop.
But it’s one event. Has to be sustained. Last event was huge revenue right before strike started.
Does a company not make money if it's employee goes on strike
