He works his ass off. Plus he's in his early 30s and has been grinding for his sponsors and vid parts pretty much nonstop. I have mad respect for Carlos because doesn't stop until he is fully satisfied. Which is good for his money/sponsors but horrible on his body and I think he's starting to realize that.
i music I think it’s cause of his break up. He’s in a bad state mentally right now and doesn’t seem to have been skating much because of winter. He’s getting back into the flow of it and mentally he let his skating go. So now he’s having to relearn the commitment to skating. He’s killing it and I think in a month or so back he will have it recovered. I don’t know him personally though so I can’t speak on his views of it. I wish and hope that he only prospers from here on out though. Carlos if you see this. Keep your head up. We all love and respect you and your life will be where you want it to be soon!

dpend ngl I skate and scoot and when I scoot I always fall and break my leg and wrist my doctor said if I break 1 more bone I might have to quit like this is my 8th time I am healing for my arm from some skater droppings in after me and seeing me when I swiped in on a 13 foot on to my arm 😖

I've been in to skateboarding for as long as us midwest hicks first heard about it. I was fascinated since day one of it reaching the great lakes. I've watched so many skaters at their best and worst that it wouldn't be possible to list them all. Carlos Lastra is my favorite skater to watch, all time. His parts, his work with Braille, they give me a sense of accomplishment. He motivates me to try harder. Thank you, Carlos.

I always hated as a skater I was never persistent if I took a bad slam it would take me a while to get back on it even if it was a freak accident. I had a bad sprain on an 8 stair and it took me a couple weeks to do a 3 stair again I was always in my head. I was pumping a bowl at speed and my wheel fell off cause i blew a bearing and it took me a while before I was able to get back in the bowl and shred. So much respect to the guys who can persist through falls and injuries and refuse to be defeated if not today they will come back even harder. Respect man
