Thanks Tim! I left Norwich in 1977 for Australia.Although many changes to shop names and facades, it was so good to see that the character appears to be much the same

@@ah6039 crime rate low compared to London , there is work but may include travelling depending on what job . It’s good for families but there are smaller towns and villages all around the outskirts of the city .
Shame to have missed one of the country's great cathedrals, the castle and a river that runs through the City.

@jackyheath7958 Yes, I know Norwich holds city status. I'm just saying that the term 'town centre' isn't necessarily incorrect in English parlance when referring to a central district. I say I'm going "in to town" when I visit the centre of Norwich. Or St Albans when I lived there. Or London when I lived there too.

Everything perfect🙏☀️☀️☀️but why WHY they build this supermarket Chantry center nier the church🙏😭😭😭What this wooden construction, columns😬😬😬What they think😭😭😭😭
Besides potentially moving graves to reposition a walkway through there.. As they dug into the foundations for Chapelfield shopping area. They uncovered the remains of 17 people. I believe 11 of them were children.
They were the victims of religious persecution and were Ashkenazi jews. 12th-13th Century.
One thing I see missing: Blaring rap music and ghetto culture. Something you cannot escape here in the states. What a lovely place. I'd give anything to live in England.

Have been to both and Norwich is approximately a billion times better than London. You can actually drive a mile without it taking an hour. And everything isn’t a total rip-off.
