CLEETHORPES COAST LIGHT RAILWAY MAY 2008

In May 2008 my mate and I were in Lincolnshire for a couple of days, So while there we called in at Cleethorpes light Railway, Well it was far better than we thought and had rides along the sea front, on some beautiful little engines, So I hope you will come along for the ride. Many thanks Ron for this information, Enjoyed watching the film. During the war my dad was on the big guns in Perry Bar park,and at times we went to stay with an aunt at Sutton Coldfield she owned a cafe near where the TV aerial is.But never new about the railway, Thanks again.,

your comment on the video you did not know where the 2 loco's bearing SMR came from.
They came from Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield when the amusement park closed many, many years ago. SMR stands for Sutton Miniature Railway.
It was great seeing the, again and I think a trip to see them this summer will be called for.

Now on loan to the 'Saltburn Miniature Railway' so the SMR journey continues.
