It is kind of crazy how a summer league game and resigning Highsmith has completely flipped my outlook on this season, but it totally has. Really happy to have him back.

Yeah, I thought there was a lot to like. He was in complete control. EVERYTHING at his pace. Everything looked really easy and intentional.
I like how physical he was, and look forward to what that’s gonna look like after putting on some size.
I think him and Bam are ultimately going to make each other a lot better, and they’ll make things easy for one another in the court.
I also expect to see a much improved Highsmith. I thought him and Niko grew a ton as players last year, and believe that their continued growth is something we’re overlooking when evaluating how good this roster actually is.
I just think the Tyler, Terry, Duncan situation is still a disaster and hope the Heat can clean that up before the start of the season. I would start Highsmith to hound opposing guards before I start any combination of those 3.

The Heat front office still has that 90’s mentality,defense first,offense secondary. We have issues scoring and until that gets fixed we’re going to be a play-in team again. Have to be able to play faster and be able to score in today’s NBA.
Our defensive depth was so bad though

YES!!! I mean c'mon he was one of the best 3 and D FAs out there. And he gets better every year! Very happy he's back. Now trade Herro. I really believe that if this squad is healthy, and we move Bam to the 4 and play the Ware(house) monster at the 5 this could be good.

C. Not excited bro. Running it back without Caleb and hoping that Playin Jimmy and Glass Herro will take us further than last year is a pipe dream. Everyone gets better except this squad.

Jovic is not starting of jaime Jaques or kelel ware. There's been talk abt bam moving to power forward and kel'el ware starting at center. Either way jovic WILL NOT and SHOULD NOT start. Jamie Jaques is better than jovic

That isn’t pat style bro … I rather run it back than wonder if gonna be any good in the years to come … also this team wasn’t fully healthy these past playoffs is not like they got beat at full strength
@@Carlos-ds2xk They haven't been healthy because they have 2 of their highest paid players (Jimmy & Herro) taking a bunch of games off every year so the team runs the rest of the team down with "Heat Culture," which leads to even more injuries.
@@James-ws9ze injuries are a part oh the game and yes Herro is injury prone but Jimmy who’s older is the sole reason the heat still relevant so Herro is the key to all their short comings … is facts they can without him … he should accept an off the bench role if he can’t be traded he already gets paid like an all star.
@@Carlos-ds2xk I agree that Herro should be traded, but Jimmy taking a bunch of games off during the regular season is also a problem. It leads to the team getting a low seed (back to back 8th seed). It leads to having to play extra games in the play in (back to back play in games 2 years in a row). It leads to having to face tougher opponents throughout the playoffs (They face the #1 seed last season in the 1st round). That makes it harder for everyone else on the team. That leads to more injuries because everyone else has to carry more of the workload and puts more strain on their bodies. That's why the Heat had the highest number of starting line ups in the league last season. Hoping for a Cinderella run every year is not sustainable especially now that Jimmy is going to be 35. They need to play better in the regular season and that includes Jimmy.

Then don't play conservatively. Everytime we had freak injuries, I felt as if it was when we had to display more desperate character. Got to make the rythtym each game at best consistent and non-slacking. Like it's the last legit year and chance. All or nothing from here on then
