  • Alternative rockers The Dandy Warhols joined us at Young Henrys Brewery for an afternoon of music, chats and beers.
They treated a lucky crowd to acoustic renditions of ‘STYGGO’ and ‘Catcher in the Rye’ from new album Distortland, before diving into classic track ‘We Used To Be Friends’. The band then took us through their favourite musical eras, why Distortland is their best album yet, and what it’s like to smoke a big fat bowl before listening to it.

I love how awesome he thinks their music is. In today's humble-brag world, it is refreshing to hear an HONEST take from the musician themselves. Because, face it, if you're a real musician, you secretly think that but generally it's gosh to say so.

Amazing times, spent my 20s going out to amazing places and dancing to indie bands in the 00s, loved being a teen of the 90s - so many incredible bands influenced my life. Including the dandy who were like no-one else. amazing.
