Don’t know why but main couple didn’t pull to me. Soo Ji did. Felt like she was the only character who was complex. She had her faults, but also her struggles and loneliness. I liked her more than female lead.

Their friendship was toxic and instead of them dealing with their feelings, they took out their toxicity onto other people. I mean the whole reason they made Woo Do Hwan's character seduce Joy's character was for revenge. And the poor girl was just an innocent bystander to the craziness going on in these people's lives. This girl Soo Ji was to odamn spoilt and was so used to the boys bending backwards and frontwards for her that she thought she owned them. It was too much

Atleast these two celebrated the trio's day. it shows that they respect n love each other. but i m so annoyed w the main guy character. like he just totally abandoned them n never regretted or missed them. i heard love makes people blind but people who choose love over friendship are real shit. See joo is pure love and Soo ji is a great character. i loved these two more than the mains.

The reason the main guy even ended up falling for that girl was cause his friend wanted to hurt her so that her ex wouldn't marry her. Wtf. That friendship was bound to fall apart. It wasn't based on real stable emotions. These kids needed therapy and they never got it. Just a bunch of chaebol kids

The fact that he loved her and stayed quiet knowing that his two best friends were head over heels for each other is what broke me the most. Then when he finally confessed his feelings and was flat out rejected (multiple times) is what drove me over the edge and stopped watching LOL. I hope they both get to be leads in another show one day.

I feel like half of the people didn't like the main couple, I didn't either. They were such a toxic couple. Tae Hee had to break a friendship that should've lasted. Shi Hyun was such a toxic character, literally played Soo Ji and ditched Seo Joo and Soo Ji, l hateed him as the drama progressed. Seo Joo and Soo Ji were the only characters I rooted for. Soo Ji deserves way better. I shipped her with Shi Hyun because they have amazing chemistry, but he turned worse so I stopped shipping. Seo Joo also deserved lots more love. I ship this couple way more than main couple. This drama overall was toxic and didn't please everyone. For all I know, Soo Ji had chemistry with everyone and I'm sure this couple is more famous than main couple. Sorry to main couple shippers :)
I totally agree it had so much potential but was wasted .. it could've been way better if the main character were just the trio and if the drama were focused on just them and their friendship instead of the boring main couple.. the other issue with this drama is how it handled the toxicity in their relationships if it was something normal and how the main male character was such a jerk but they tried to portray him as a good guy I wish he got some sort of punishment for his behavior to show that it wasn't right just how the other two struggled because they were toxic as well

Tae hee didn’t do much to break their friendship. Soo ji was the one who dragged her into their drama. Shi Hyun approached Tae hee because soo ji wanted him to humiliate her and stuff. I am not saying that Shi hyun is a good guy because he isn’t. He is quite toxic and Tae hee is a bit plain in contrast to soo ji who has a very complex personality.But soo ji isn’t entirely right. She planted the seeds to ruin their own friendship and Shi hyun added fertilizer to it. I only liked seo joo in this drama.

For me the real victim of this series was Lee see joo. Yes every one of em suffered , but man seeing him heartbroken everytime just hits different. My man didn’t even have a shoulder to lean on . He deserved so much more💔.

soo ji was such an underrated character in this... everyone hated her because of what she did, but I loved her because of how strong she was. She is an absolute baddie
I loved her character too. Yes we can't say she didn't do anything wrong but I think Shi Hyun did him dirty by leading her on and not clearly stating what he feels. Best thing that happened in this was when she ended up finding Se Joo again and based on her eyes and the gesture, she missed him and longed for him so much. You can feel that she loves him.

So-ji is the kind of character who doesn't need a man to rule the world. By the ending of the drama, I hated how her role was shrinked to something who just wanted to separate the main lead couple. I really love her role, I hated how joy's character was portrayed as innocent and nice. Honestly so-ji should have been the lead, her character has such a aura that makes you look only at her.
When i started this drama i really loved it and was in it for the drama thinking she was female lead or i thought around the middle that it wont be a romance i was in for that as well. I thought at least the trio were all leads and it wont be like other dramas but i was really annoyed and disappointed when i found out there was another character that was the lead i was sooo annoyed i pretty much hated the whole drama. And soo ji literally had no scenes other than breaking them apart. A waste of time. And im really not trying not to hate on joy but i truly hate her character i couldn't stand her and the main lead. I would skip their scenes 🙄😫

Kim Min Jae broke my heart here. He was so pityful I cried just imagining how the girl would regret if he ever suddenly disappears.
I think the reason we all love Soo ji more than Tae hee is :-
1. Soo ji is a well written character with all the diverse human emotions. Tae hee is just a plain good girl who can do anything to save her loved ones and never tries to get revenge and blah blah blah . I don't want to repeat all the good words and good characters which are there in every other female lead. Soo ji is much more complex and that's why we are more interested in understanding her. We can't guess what her next move will be like telling SH father that she wants to marry him or telling everything to TH .
2. Soo ji is enacted by Moon ga young and Tae hee by Joy. Moon ga young is an outstanding actress and she has portrayed SJ so amazingly and has been able to show her layered character without any flaws. Whereas Joy is originally a K-pop idol. This is not her main job so this is the highest we can expect from her. It's not her fault. Soo ji has shown all the diverse range of emotions like love, hatred, jealousy, sorrow,dispair effectively. Whereas Joy has limited emotions to portray like if she is spending happy moments with SH she will smile with small eyes and showing teeth(that's cute though) but repetitive and if she is sad then she will be sulking or crying that's it.
3. I can only think this much if you know anything more you are free to tell.☺️

That's the thing with complex characters vs. plain ones, even IF the actress is a great one, with a plain perfect good girl next door character, there's not much to do. But with someone complex like Suji, there's so much more to act, that's why a lot of actors and actresses all say their dream role is a psychopath or villain, it's more challenging.
Seriously speaking Moon Ga Young should've led this drama with the trio, her and her two friends and end up with se-ju; the scenario would've been more joyful than the one Joy is leading

Seo joo deserves the world. I literally got frustrated so many times while watching this show. He always got hit and I also found that Soo ji was often way too harsh with him. No one really cared about his problems with his family and with his mom. That's why he actually was my fav characters in the show
This guy right here singlehandedly did more for her than any other person related to her character in this drama ever did. More than her parents actually! He protected her, from both physical and verbal abuse (multiple times), always remained by her side even when he was treated like shit in comparison, opened a restaurant near her school so he could see her more often, even though they literally had a hideout where they saw each other almost every day, flew food FROM CHINA just so she could enjoy it (but it's Soo Ji, she barely appreciated it), watched how she gradually fell for his best friend and did NOTHING to stop her because he respected her choices, ended up hurting his best friend by using his own girlfriend against him, which later caused him massive trouble, because he got beat up so bad he had to be hospitalized, all for Soo Ji's honor and because Si Hyun hurt her feelings in the process by falling in love with someone else. See Jo also NEVER manipulated the narrative to his advantage and just let things "flow" (which he actually says at some point of the drama), which made many viewers think that he never actually wanted to be a part of their little trio, he only stayed there because Soo Ji was a part of it. She, in no way, shape or form deserved him and I said what I said. Even though her character is pretty rotten I still developed some sort of affection towards her. And if she only gave him a chance and stopped acting like a brat every 0.2 seconds, they would literally be the next Chuck & Blaire from Gossip Girl. Even though they were kinda toxic together, I still preferred them over the main couple. And I also didn't quite get the ending? When she visits him, 5 years later, in his Japanese restaurant. Did they hit it off or did they remain friends?
Sooji’s reaction is understandable. Sejoo always flirt with other girl and never actually look serious toward Sooji in the early story (cuz he hide it). Meanwhile the male lead (i forgot his name, lol) actually showed her how he feels for her and even ask her to date him. That’s why she “likes” the mc and kept hold on to him cuz she thought he will never fall for other girl. And all the “heart broken” thing she felt was only because it feel as if she lost the person who she thought was hers (the character her self is toxic, so of course she become selfish when it come to this) I can sometimes see the way she look at sejoo everytime he did something for her but it seems like she try to deny it cuz sejoo seems to always play around and not being serious or maybe because the thought of losing her other friend breaks her heart and that’s why she only look past through all the things sejoo do for her. She do appreciate him, but yet still set a line between her and sejoo. Btw, she were still hold on to her ‘feelings’ toward mc, that’s probably other reason why she become ignorant towards Sejoo action, cuz we as human do get confused with our own feelings. We want things we only want (obsessed), when things we need is actually in front of us
i believe the ending is them finally ready to be in each other presence. That Suji is finally accepting to look at her sejoo. Sejoo said before he will always waiting and suji just need to come to him. Tbh they dont need 5 years to find eo, with how much money they have. But its the time for them to heal individually.

She is one of the most beautiful kdrama actresses but never saw her in any lead roles. I wondered if I was because she was too pretty and she always played the mean girl. But luckily, now she is in true beauty. Irony is that she is shown as not being beautiful from outward appearance on this one. But she is so gorgeous and she deserves more dramas with her as the lead.

This two looked stunning in this drama. Of course they are both really good looking, but compare to their other goodie goodie roles, they blown my mind here. I'm sorry but Joy still doesn't deserve to be a main lead. I know you might say it's because of her character but nah no matter what role you're playing, if you're a good actor your character will be much appreciated. Her acting was lacking that it was overshadowed by the second leads. And I also watched her other drama The liar and his lover but didn't finish it because it's really cringe-worthy.
Honestly like no hate i hope she keeps working to get better. But the fact that her character made the show annoying and she got 89% of the scenes was a waste... while these two great actors didn't get more scenes to develop their relationship more

Kim Minjae is such a good actor. I rooted way more for this pairing than the actual pairing. For those unaware, Minjae is also a rapper/songwriter and dancer/choreographer at professional levels. Super talented guy. I can't wait for him to appear in more dramas and make them amazing.
Their friendship was flawed but beautiful, toxic but needed. They needed each other to survive and that was what they always thought but when someelse came along, they couldnt handle that and broke apart. The series is really amazing.

I can see how much Sejoo loves Sooji. He is indifferent and badass but because he wants to hide his feelings and is afraid of losing Soojin if he confesses to her. This makes me sad. I wish they would cooperate in the future again because of the great chemistry. This movie still leaves a lot of regret for me about the supporting couple.

I think we should have got more of se Joo like more about his mum his family and his struggles and persona he is a very delightful person and I feel like we should have got yo see more about him than just being one of the three friends. I love him and I would have loved to get to know him more but I'm glad I met him.
