Always wanted to play a kitsune who was always disguised in human form, but was also really dumb and didn't know how to act human. They'd walk into a tavern yelling "Greetings fellow humans! I too am a human! Let us discuss our desire to destroy nature, and the inferiority of non humans, as humans are to do!"

I have not played a kitsune yet, but I am planning on building a arcane scorceror with druid dedication wild order. This is to take ancestral spells feat and to make the most of your fox and super fox forms. This one knows more spells then a wizard has in their spell book. And the feat that adds all the form spells to your spells known.
I feel like I am throwing a lot of comments at you but jeez, this channel is so fucking good. Solidly the best vibe and best practical information and insight of all the PF2e channels.
Kitsune are so well done this edition. They're much more flexible for different playstyles and character concepts. They were one of my favorites since PF2 released, second only to Kobolds because of how much better they are than their 1e version.
As a Japanese I always found it weird that Kitsune is a magic Yokai race when that should be actually Youko or Bakegitsune (though foxes in Japanese lore do trick people).
Here's a concept male fox form female human form must remain celebrate in human form due to risk of harm if transforms pregnant. Reason for the cross gender is because the character was born as fraternal twins but the female absorbed the male in utero and the male fox was the dominant fox form of the two
I have a few questions, first sorry if my english is bad, is not my native lenguage xd 1- in your fox form you can cast magic? Or is in feat “hybryd form” that allows you speak also gave you the posibility to use magic as a fox? 2- in Empty sky kitsune, when it says you gain that feat it means is free? Or you have to take it for your first feat ? 3- when it says that your alternative form is a humanoid from were you from that means if were i live there are humans, tieflings and other humanoids i can choose?
I can answer those questions for you. 1 You can never cast spells in fox form due to battle form rules. Hybrid form feat lets you talk in fox form. 2 You get the feat for free. 3 Yes although I you say your humanoid form is any common humanoid ancestry but is unlikely to be a uncommon or rare for the region. So a Tiefling is unlikely discuss with your GM.
So, you are very sick? Could be a stomach bug... This race/ancestry would fit in well in any locale that a fox would, which is nearly anywhere. Arctic tundra, burning sands, even cities are habitats for IRL foxes. And they are clever creatures, so don't be afraid of the big brain/wiley cunning vibes. Almost every mythology with foxes has them as tricksters, knowledge keepers, and survivors. And they can find a niche almost anywhere. Good flavor, for me, would be to chose a fox from the climate your PC grew up in for details. Fennic fox for desert dwellers in Osirion. (Bigger ears, smaller size, sandy coloration.) Red/Silver fox for Ulfen in the northern forests. (Another redhead in the Norse equivalent peoples...) Artic for Irrisen or the Crown of the World. Google-rinse-repeat. If memory serves one of the PCs in my first PF1 game with Tommy was a kitsune. (The other was a drow noble.) The obscene level of shape shifting fun was truly a thing to behold.
Hey tommy, i've been talking with some of my players and they're insisting that summons are so useless. i've had a spot of bad rolls which hasn't helped my case, but i'm trying to convince them otherwise. I'm currently playing a 5th level Conjurer is there any chance of a video in future which can talk about summoning for fun and profit? I especially have trouble when vsing Boss Monsters at PL+1 and +2.
My two cents until the vid is out: it depends a LOT on which spells you're casting at which levels, and summoning is always at its weakest when a game is new. Bestiary 3 is going to be huge - new undead and constructs will be a big deal for your Conjurer.
Okay so I do have a question because considering that I've always viewed Kitsune as someone who likes a human with Fox like features that has fox tails and ears in their base forms and then turn into a full out fox. So I can only look like that at lvl 5 with the hybrid form and then turn into full on fox or am I overthinking this if you could answer this I'd greatly appreciate it have a nice day
