That is a great design to include the HeliBar Riser position. HeliBars instructions have additional steps if it drags on the bottom like you mentioned, my set never dragged.
This is a very good product because I have the Heli-Bar Riser kit and it is absolutely the best upgrade I have on my 2018 Gold Wing Tour. Max's all in one product is another superb improvement.

But i almost vcan't believe, that there is nobody out there, who wants a alarm system on his f.....ing expensive bike....... Maybe you could make a viedeo about that.... My plan is to buy my new bike (2021 model) in May or June. Hello Jurgen! I don't hear of Goldwings being stolen, at least not here in America. The size and weight makes it a pretty big task! Also, with the keyfob locking the bike the ignition system is disabled and the bike will not run. So unless the steering lock can be broken and the bike manually loaded, no one can get it. This upper plate will cost around $150 USD, which is less than the cost of the accessory parts combined, and no labor is required to "Assemble" it, saving time and special tools. We look forward to helping you with your new Wing!
There won't be any "performance" advantage, mainly just a convenience advantage. I am going to have it cost the same or less as buying Helibars, and our Bushing Eliminator, around $150. This will save money because the labor and special tools required is reduced. I will likely put together a complete "steering upgrade package".

No, but I can make a spacer set if you need them. The helibar riser adds like 5/8"... not enough to change much.
