Our New York Adventure continues! Evan and Jillian have heard all about the HUGE toy stores that are in NYC. So we're taking a stroll around the city to visit them!
First stop was Nintendo World. The kids got to take their first subway ride. In addition to a bunch of game stations, they had some pretty cool displays as well as a Nintendo museum filled with some cool vintage games and memorabilia.
Then it was off to the LEGO Store at Rockefeller Center. They had some cool New York City themed models on display. Very cool. Then we passed by Radio City Music Hall where they film our favorite TV show, America's Got Talent!
Next toy store: FAO Schwarz! They had a huge plush and candy section. Jillian liked the Big Piano. Now we have to watch the movie BIG with Tom Hanks!
We took a quick nap (was up at 5:30am that morning for Good Morning America) before heading out again. We had a limited amount of time since we had a Broadway show to catch. But Evan's one mission while in New York was to ride the Ferris Wheel at the World's Largest Toys "R" Us in Times Square. After riding, we took a quick look around before heading to the theater.
Then it was off to the New Amsterdam Theatre to see the Disney's newest musical ALADDIN! This was the kids' first Broadway show and it didn't disappoint. Everything about the show was top notch. There were some pretty cool stage effects as well. After the show we went to the stage door to see our old friend James Monroe Iglehart who played the Genie and also got to meet Adam Jacobs who played Aladdin and Courtney Reed who played Jasmin.
