    Your make up and hair look flawless, I would never guess the stress of your daily routine. I am really enjoying your vlogs.
    Better than crepes, Swedish pancakes are always a good breakfast/snack option if you find a good chef/restaurant that works for your schedule. Please stay safe out there and keep the updates rolling.

    Is there a stable of aircraft available for these flights? Does it depend on the number of passengers as to which plane is used? I need to tell you how much I enjoy your videos! Living vicariously through you! Beautiful young lady! I love your hair pulled back... with fluff in the back!

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much Mary! 😊
      There are 2 planes that I work on regularly at my company. It depends more on the destination than the passenger count. One of the planes can fly further without stopping for fuel so that plane takes the long haul flights. The other airplane stays closer 😊

    Jacqueline...have you ever had a health emergency with a passenger onboard you have had to deal with?

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Janet! On my first flight (commercial) a passenger had a heart attack! 😳 we had to give him nitroglycerin and everything.

    • @janetizzo8186
      @janetizzo8186 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JacquelineTravels BUT....you probably had a team on commercial, right? I just wonder how traumatic it would be on a corporate/private flight and you had to deal with it by yourself? YIKES! Also...as an RN, I kept some pretty accurate notes on different situations and experiences and I wrote a book...and it was published! Your life is so so so interesting as well. You should write a book! If not for publishing, at least for your future children and posterity (as a journal) to let them know you walked (flew) upon the earth!

    Does it cost the clients more money to have the crew wait at the destination for a few days versus you dropping them off and someone else picking them up?

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure it does but I cant confirm since I’m not in the accounting/logistics dept? They would have to pay for the crew to fly home, and a new crew to fly in. Due to rest legalities we need certain amounts of time in the hotel so even if there wasn’t a layover a hotel could still be necessary. I’ll try to find out! Generally the crew is “married” to the plane so it stays with it until the trip is complete. And the cost to provide the crew with a hotel/food/car may be built into the price to charter the plane. I’ll let you know what I find out!

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I meant to say I’m not sure it does...

    • @islandbaby4704
      @islandbaby4704 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jacqueline Travels thanks for replying. I also noticed that you watch the prices carefully when you purchase the foods for the passengers. Do they give you a specific budget for each trip you work?

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some charter flights do! This one did not. But it can be so expensive to use a caterer and it can be very easy to spend money that isn’t yours so I try to be budget conscious. I always want to be asked back to work a trip and I think keeping costs down but maintaining the integrity of the meals by fancy-ing them up yourself helps 😊

    • @islandbaby4704
      @islandbaby4704 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jacqueline Travels that’s very professional of you. I love your videos and even though I have no desire personally to be a flight attendant, I find the behind the scenes prep process you go through with preparing the plane and all the different food options for the passengers so interesting.! You do so much!!

    Hi Jacqueline! Love your videos!
    What would you say was the hardest part of your job when you first started vs now?

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello and thank you! The hardest part was the meal planning. It is stressful to plan food for other people all of the time! It still makes me nervous when I have new clients but I feel more comfortable with it now :)

  • @kajalpatel6870
    @kajalpatel6870 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a question! So whenever the passengers have options of what to eat, how many meals do you get? Have you ever had a situation where all the passengers wanted the small meal but you didn’t have enough of those meals? Super curious how this all works!

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi! Yes, I have been in this situation before and it was NOT fun! I was serving steak and something else (can't remember?) and no one wanted the something else. I sliced the steak into strips instead of serving it how it was prepared and placed the meat on top of all of the sides I had. I did have enough to feed everyone, it was just not a very large portion. I always have items for a charcuterie plate or veggie tray in case the passengers are still hungry after the main service so as you can guess I did make a hearty platter for them as a snack!

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't fully answer your question...I am working for a company full time now so I have a better idea of what to order and how much to order. When I am contracting I will ask the passengers any preferences and try to make the best decision from there :)

    Just wondering do you guys have a flight attendant uniform or do you just wear business attire? Also do you guys get wings?

    • @JacquelineTravels
      @JacquelineTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am planning to make a video about this because I am asked often! I always wear black slacks since I move around a ton. Flat shoes so I don't snag the carpet on the airplanes and a blouse, usually black to hide any galley kitchen spills :)
      I did get wings from Flight Safety when I completed the course, I just never really wear them.
