Rain is been around about 20 years and he is called Korean Michael Jackson because he is a great dancer and performer just like Michael. Zico is a current popular singer, writer, and producer. You should check out more IU since she has been around about 12 years and one of the most respected by all ages artist in Korea despite how young she is.

This is not IU’s song, Bang PD produce it for the I-Land members, the company just asked IU to sing it for the intro of the show but the original record will be sung by the official members of the new boyband at the end of the program.
Lots of things about the show have meanings, yes the egg represents them ‘hatching’ but also the trainees are split into two groups, ‘I-landers’ and ‘the grounders’. The I-landers get to live in the futuristic castle building whilst being isolated(like an idol) whilst the grounders only practice at a small room just outside the big building and have to leave at the end of the day to go home(like a trainee). The differences make the i-landers push harder to keep their spot and not get moved to the ground whilst grounders push harder to get to the I-land.
i love the song. i think i will love the show. i love big hit. and i also think that i will love i-land. i will certainly watch this. support mnet and bighit!

They realesed video introduction about the building and I can say, that place look futuristic and comfy at the same time. Like that train and apartman in Hunger Games, pretty rooms, training room and performing arena, even their concept photos look like those Hunger Games holograms

I-land is a survival show just as produce but a little bit different, is rumored that the boys themselves are the ones who are choosing who will be debuting. This project started the last year, they are trying to make a "global group". Its coming out on 4 days in weverse and mnet channel. Bang PD is the director, Rain and Zico (legends in korea) are the mentors. There are 23 trainees and we dont know how many are goin to debut. I dont like survival programs but I'm hoping to see about the dynamic in the show and how bang pd is going to make his first survival show ever.
I may be wrong but this is what I managed to understand so far regarding the survival show. First it is called "I-LAND" and it is under the management of BELIF+ and MNET. BELIF+ is a joint company between CJ ENM and Big Hit Labels, so in a way its not entirely Big Hit Labels doing this but the company sure put a lot into this project (especially the producing music aspect of the project since it was officially stated that Big Hit will be doing that). It is expected to be three monitors; ZICO, RAIN and Bang Si Hyuk himself. There are 23 candidates (there are rumours that it was supposed to be 24 candidates but due to an accident happened during the recording that one candidate had to be taken out from this. I believed it is mainly for the sake of his health). The date when episode 1 of the show will be released is on 26th of June and at 11PM KST. And that is all I got. Hope it helps ^^

MNET better not messing around this time. Their current partner is Big Hit, so they should cooperate properly and righteously. Big Hit spent soooo much money on this project and it took them 3 years to prepare for it. Everyone has high expectation. I just hope that this show will change all the old corruptive techniques and methods of handling the trainees. Those young talented and passionate people should be treated fairly.
