This is SO cute!! But I’m one of those who’s always trying to adapt something to become something else, soooooo... I F ... I position the couple close together at the outset, AND switch the attachment points to the opposite positions, would that then make the couple move APART?? What I’m trying to make is a card wherein the captions relate to our current 6 ft caveat. Any thoughts, fellow crafters?

If you mean for the sliding bands, you could possibly use something like parchment paper. It seems to me that it has to be something smooth and slick, and strong. Good luck with this project!
