For my fitted hats I use jason mark shoe cleaner. You do the same thing you would with your sneakers but you want to use a very soft brush and don’t scrub too hard & be careful about how much water you have on your brush when your ready to scrub. You just have to be careful on the out of the hat & brim but when you want to do the band you don’t have to be as careful you can scrub it much harder. It really works well on white bands
I saw a video on tiktok where someone filled a bathtub up with warm/hot water, and added like white vinegar, soap, and something else, and threw the hats in and let them sit there for 3 hrs. And when she came back the tub was disgusting and brown. And then put them on the top rack of the dishwasher to dry! On another note- you mad cute tho 🤣🤣
I use a bucket woolite, cold water and swish it around If it's a wool fitted cap. I often spot clean with a soft toothbrush to avoid messing up the cardboard bill.

Yeah, there are plenty of ways out there to clean them. It’s understandable considering the hats are older so I would just keep finding the best way for your situation. In this case, I didn’t really have any issues but it always depends!
Wait so the one you air dried did you just rub it with laundry detergent and then let it sit? You didn’t wash it out? That’s the option I’m leaning to but I wanna make sure to get every step correct

@@A-LO when you wrap it in the bandana make sure the hat is folded in the same way you bought it at first with the back folded in tie the knots on the top of the front brim tight together

Try this method tie a hat in a bandana make the knots on the front and do them tight put it in the washing machine it works

@@A-LOafter it's washed take it out of the bandana and let it air dry leave it in the folded new look position
